Rivalry Already in Progress; or, Instant Heat!
Although this is the first BG East appearance for Brad Flash, he comes well-seasoned from both the pro and the underground wrestling scenes in the UK. He regularly appears in the pro rings and has been featured at a Soho bar's monthly wrestling night. Torvik is similarly experienced so not only are they well-matched, they've wrestled each other before! And as Torvik is pleased to point out, he's come out on top every time. Brad is convinced that won't be the result this time around, though. He's focused. He's fit. And he's absolutely determined to put an end to Tirva's winning streak, and maybe end the sexy Latvian's wrestling career, especially if the cocky punk runs his mouth off like he usually does!
Wearing purple trunks and black boots with kneepads, Brad warms up before Torvik arrives. He's compact, and he moves with a seasoned confidence. There's a serious intensity about every move he makes which communicates clearly that he's here to settle the score. When Torvik arrives wearing very sexy low-slung blue trunks and white boots, you can cut the tension hanging in the room between them with a knife. "Look who's here, about to get beat," Torvik says with a smirk. He swaggers into the room and stands nose to nose with his nemesis, neither willing to back off a fraction of an inch. It's Torvik carrying the momentum into this match, though. He knows he can beat Brad, because he's done it before. Brad, on the other hand, is the one who still has something to prove.
Torvik is determined to control the pace of this match, so he starts things off with a shove to Brad's chest. Torvik knows full well that this is like putting a lit match to Brad's already very short fuse. Brad's face instantly flushes red with rage as he charges back at his cocky opponent, which gives Torvik the opening he was setting up all along. He takes Brad quickly down to his back and slaps on an armbar. Things are going exactly according to Torvik's plan. Seconds into the match, and he's threatening to break Brad's arm, with more than a little glee in his voice. "How does that feel, huh, boy!?"
However, despite the match record between them, Brad is no pushover. He works every ounce of leverage at his disposal to slap his opponent into a grinding headlock. A moment later, and Torvik has countered, capturing Brad's arm in a hammerlock and prying his wrist high up between his shoulder blades. The back-and-forth action is calculated and intense, but the look of delight in Torvik's eyes as he positions himself to watch the agony play across Brad's face in hold after hold is unmistakable. Making Brad Flash suffer isn't just a past-time for Torvik. It's his pleasure. He eventually manages to capture Brad's legs in a Boston Crab and sit deep, spreading at his opponent's knees and arching his back until Brad taps out in desperation. Torvik is thrilled that everything is going according to plan.
