Shannon Embry didn't have the most auspicious of debuts at BGEast, partnering with fellow Mainer Cameron Matthews against a brutal team of vicious heels who view any such young wrestlers in the same way a lion looks at a haunch of beef! Despite the defeat, Shannon impressed the fans (and The Boss) with his tenacity and heart. A solo match against Nik Knox is a shot at redemption for the blond youth with the fair skin and the long, lean luscious body. Shannon is totally focused as he warms up in the ring in his long blue and white ring robe while awaiting the arrival of nasty Nik Knox. Nik can't help but laugh when he gets his first glimpse of the next feast The Boss has laid out for his delectation. That laugh alone is bone-chilling enough as Nik climbs into the ring in his own black ring robe - apparently as black as his heart. He challenges young Shannon to show off his muscles - and when Shannon does, Nik flexes his own! "Now, THESE are muscles, boy," he taunts as he strikes a few poses. "You might try the weight room sometime." Once the bell rings, they trade wrist locks before Nik loses patience with the hold and arrogantly, dismissively and easily tosses the youngster down! Impressively, Shannon kips up to his feet and gets an armbar on Nik - only to have it reversed! With minimal effort Nik takes the babyface down to the mat, and pain is plainly written plainly all over Shannon's face!
Shannon, though, as we've learned, is no pushover. He isn't about to sit still and let the nasty Jersey thug just work him over at will! He reverses into a brutal headscissors that has the bigger man shouting in pain and frustration - who the hell does this skinny kid think he is anyway? Nik powers out of the hold and muscles Shannon through some very nasty holds of his own - finishing the series by slamming the cute kid head-first into the turnbuckle! Staggered, Shannon collapses to the mat, opening his delectably lean torso to some vicious and repeated stomps from the bigger man! Again and again Shannon tries to get to his feet, but Nik doesn't let him, driving him back down with some stomps and painful forearm smashes across his back. Finally, Shannon attempts to get away from the onslaught, heading for the ropes for some respite...
