A Chance for Redemption with a Little "Somethin'-Somethin'"
"Well, look who it is," Tony Law smirks as he struts into the gazebo to find Jake Jenkins warming up for their match. "The kid I beat in the state finals!" It is a small wrestling world, after all, so it should not be too much of a surprise to discover that two young, eager, highly skilled BG East competitors like Tony and Jake have a history. Just a few years earlier, they squared off for the state title, and buff, bulging, blond Tony walked away with the championship and bragging rights. "What do you say we go again?" Tony asks, flexing his thick pecs and dancing on the balls of his feet eagerly.
"I like your way of thinking," Jake replies with that notorious, cool confidence of his. Jake is far from that "kid" Tony beat a few years ago. He has honed his craft in the particularly brutal arena of BG East wrestling, just as he has honed his tightly packed, beautifully muscled, impressively flexible body. Jake has been paying his dues in the rough and tumble underground wrestling scene longer than Tony has. Particularly on the mats, he has a well-earned reputation for combining the best of amateur wrestling and mix-martial arts. His gorgeous, toned muscles and laser focus have earned him a huge fan following and a ton of respect from every opponent he's faced.
Tony, of course, isn't the same cocky kid he used to be, either. While less experienced in the underground scene, he has built even thicker muscle mass and sensational conditioning than his former nemesis. Tony got thrashed in his debut match in the ring, but he's confident that the hybrid format of wrestling on the mats in the gazebo is right up his alley. And he knows for a fact he has the potential to beat Jake, because he's done it before!
They pick up right where they left off back at state, delivering astonishingly quick, technically outstanding take downs and instantly working for riding time and back exposure. It's a rare treat to see an opponent hang with Jake on the mats, so prepare to be treated to the sensational speed and skill with which Tony meets Jake's precision offense. And with Tony's undeniable edge in size and strength, he quickly outmuscles and out hustles his frustrated opponent early and often.
Just when Tony looks like he's handily repeating history, Jake kicks into high gear. His years of experience at BG East start to shine through. His attacks are surgical, repeatedly putting big Tony to his back and threatening a humiliating first fall pin. "I've been around the block a little bit," Jake explains, pumping his devastating thighs around Tony's head with punishing headscissors that would have been strictly out of bounds back in the day. "I've learned a little somethin'-somethin'!" Proving his point, he rolls Tony to his shoulders and pins him.
Jake brushes off the effort as he gets to his feet, redemption stretching in a huge smile across his handsome face. Tony is humiliated and pissed. When they move in for another collar and elbow restart, Tony drives a brutal knee into Jake's gut, dropping him like a sack of potatoes. Tony may not have had as much experience in the rough and tumble world of underground wrestling, but it turns out he's a quick study. He shrugs his big, boulder shoulders out of his singlet straps as he drags Jake to his feet by his shaggy mop top and bearhugs him into agonized screams against the post of the gazebo. "Not so tough are you now, punk!?" Tony snarls, flinging his writhing opponent to the mat with disgust.
Of course, Jake is tough. As is Tony. And this isn't the state finals. There's no ref, and there seems to be fewer and fewer rules by the second as these muscled young warriors fight hard and dirty, not just for victory, but for pride. One roaring hunk slowly breaks his opponent's body and bends his will. Shattered confidence gives way to obediently submitting on command, screaming on command. A devastating final fall sleeper leaves this rematch decisively settled, with one gorgeous young hunk knocked down a few pegs.
