His shocking, post-victory turn against the referee in his recent Wrestling with Pride match epitomized Ace's approach to wrestling. There's no such thing as too much brutality. Ace recognizes no rules of engagement that apply to him. He intends to crush anything and everyone that stands in the way of becoming the most dominant bad ass in the business.
Richie Douglas is the yin to Ace's yang. Richie has emerged as an increasingly adept erotic provocateur. He deftly deflects an opponent's offense with his distracting dimples and the perfect proportions of his beautiful physique. He's not the biggest or baddest, but he's one of the most subtly seductive wrestlers in competition. Whether Richie's corporeal allure is sufficient to blunt the offense of a raging bull like Ace is at the very heart of this beauty and the beautiful beast contest.
The Boss insisted on adding just one more ingredient to this potentially explosive concoction. A mystery referee. When Richie locks down a single leg boston crab for a submission attempt, Ash is too busy admiring the view to notice when Ace grabs the ropes and calls for the break - or so it seems. When Richie is screaming his surrender, getting snapped in half by a muscle worshipping OTK backbreaker, Ash is too enraptured to call for the break and award Ace the well-earned submission. So much for "refereeing"!
The pro action spotlights the best of both wrestlers. Ace's power and pro skills bash Richie corner to corner. He delights in the look of panic that washes across his opponent's babyface under the onslaught of bearhugs and bodyslams. But delight is Richie's not-so-secret weapon. Every time Ace loses himself in appraisingly stroking the boy wonder's beautiful body, which is often, Richie exploits the moment with a decisive reversal.
With so much hot wrestling action unfolding in front of him, it should come as little wonder that Ash is unable to remain impartial. His open lust for both men locked in brutal combat sucks the ref into the fray repeatedly. Tempers flare. Hidden alliances are hinted at. And the free-for-all end of this barnburner leaves two hot hunks knocked out cold and left piled in a heap.
