Most fans know that Eli Black's first love is MMA fighting. And Attila Dynasty's interest in the sport undergirds most of his past matches at BG East, most remarkably his separate bouts with Jayden Mayne and Jake Jenkins. It was only a matter of time before we put the bantamweight up against the somewhat beefier lightweight. Then we sat back to enjoy the fireworks. Attila shows up at ringside as Eli is working out in the ring alone. "Minding my own business," Black mumbles, standoffishly. Attila suggests that the two "practice" together. He pretends not to know much about the sport, showing off his new never-been-used red gloves as if he's never seen MMA gloves. If Eli were paying close enough attention, he might have noticed that, for a novice, Attila slides into the gloves like they're a second skin.
Eli suggests they warm up first. He punches the open palms of Attila's gloves Then they reverse. Attila's blows are noticeably stiffer than Eli's. One punch whooshes past Eli's glove and smacks the side of his face. "Sorry. I told you I'm new to this," Attila says, still claiming inexperience. Eli rubs his sore jaw skeptically but recommences the warm-up session. This time, he sneaks in an outside kick to Dynasty's ankle. All innocence, Eli claims it was an accident. Attila isn't buying it. The "accident" repeats itself, this time with a bit more force behind it. Then Eli suggests that they move on to sparring: "Nothing cheap. No head shots. Just the body." Attila agrees to it.
The two circle each other warily. They feint, grazing each other's midsection with their gloves. Then Eli drives home a gut punch that bends Attila in half. Eli tenses up his world-famous abs and invites Attila to retaliate. "C'mon. Give me shots here," he barks, not even flinching. Eli's ready to rev things up, and after he lands a second hard right to Attila's gut, so is Attila. "Fuck that shit!" Attila yells, casting off his gloves and tackling Eli down to the mat. He bounds back to his feet and follows with a stomp to Eli's unprotected ribs. "You pissed me off," Attila says, stating the obvious, swerving to kick Eli in the lower back. Eli is writhing, his body racked with pain as Dynasty tugs off the boxing trunks to reveal Eli's trunks. Attila expresses his total contempt for his opponent, driving his heel again to Eli's ribs and saying, with bitter sarcasm, "I'm not going to do that!" Eli's kneeling before him, still dazed from the sudden attack. Attila lifts the guy's head by a fistful of hair and closed-fit punches him right in the mouth.
Lovers of brutal fighting, savor what's coming next! There's still more than 30 minutes of street fight left in both these guys, and there's not a flinch, a welt, or a twitch that our camera misses. Can Attila take down Eli, a man who has cut through previous opponents like a barracuda on mackerel? Opportunistic predator that he is, Eli has been known to wait till the time is ripe to counterattack his opponents. Then suddenly, seemingly out of nowhere, he tears whole chunks out of them. But nobody has ever seen Attila this pissed off before. We can't remember ever seeing Eli Black bitch-slapped around a ring like this! The unmistakable fire in Attila's eyes warns us that the man is dangerous beyond anything we have previously imagined him to be.
