Team Green and the End of the Bromance
Zip Zarella and his new tag team partner, Cap Landon, like their odds. Although Austin Cooper's partner was a no-show, he agreed to face off against Zip and Cap by himself. "Oh yeah, two-on-one, easy night tonight, brother," Cap bounces with excitement. Their contrasting physiques, with Cap pale and lean to Zip's tanned, thick muscles, are identically packaged in matching trunks. They're in sync, finishing each other's sentences and complimenting each other's strengths. "We're green, and we're mean, baby," Zip crows. Despite both being relative newcomers, they like their odds in teaming up against the legendary firepower of muscle hunk Austin.
"It looks like we've got a couple of leprechauns here," Austin sneers as he enters the ring. "So I'm wrestling one and a half people here, huh?" Whereas Zip measures up to Austin's fan favorite muscle mass and fitness, Cap is the lightweight wild card in the mix. Wordlessly, Cap steps out to the ring apron, allowing Zip the first crack and wearing out the imposing muscle hunk in red. They give each other high fives and knowing winks, confident that all of their scouting and training will be more than enough to undermine even the imposing offense of their lone wolf opponent. "This bromance isn't going to last long," Austin predicts, "because I'm going to take both you out!"
The two big men trade rear bearhugs, testing one another's strengths and tolerances. Cap shouts encouragement from the corner, offering advice to his partner and trash talk to their opponent. The more Cap chimes in from the sidelines, the more viciously Austin punishes Zip. An Irish whip bashes Zip's beefy body from corner to corner. "I'll show you who Austin Cooper is," Austin growls. When Cap snaps back, "Who's that?," Austin takes out still more brutal rage on Zip. He shockingly hoists Zip across his shoulders, parading him around the ring and making sure Cap gets a good, long look at his partner's humiliation. He flings Zip overhead and bashes him down violently in an over-the-knee backbreaker. When Zip peels his hot muscles off the mat, he's instantly sucked back into Austin's crushing rear bearhug. "You've got to stop letting him do that to you," Cap pleads with his partner.
When Zip finally tags in Cap, Austin manhandles the loudmouthed lightweight with ease. Scoop slams flatten Cap like a bug on a windshield. When Zip encourages his partner to soldier on, Austin asks, "Do you want to see just how strong I am?" Unable to disguise his awestruck interest in Austin's power, Zip blurts out, "Sure!" Cap screeches in panic, "No, don't say that," but too late. Austin really needs no encouragement to clean and jerk Cap in one, smooth motion, flings him over his head, racking him across his bulging traps. "This is embarrassing," Zip groans from the corner, covering his eyes from the sight of his partner's complete humiliation.
Austin gets cocky. He racks up submissions, and his complete manhandling of the boys in green gives his magnificent muscles a pump and his ego an enormous boost. "I'll tell you what, I'll take on both of you bitches," he snarls hungrily. But as devastating as Austin is in full-on heel mode, he has his hands more than full with the synchronized muscle bashing of Zip and Cap going two-on-one. Like a well-oiled machine, they start to pick him apart, bulging muscle by bulging muscle. Zip stretches Austin out helplessly in a full nelson for Cap to drive punches into the muscle hunk's washboard abs. Zip utilizes body scissors to crush the air out of Austin's lungs like squeezing the last drop of toothpaste out of the tube, and then Cap snaps his wiry thighs across their opponent's throat, choking off any chance of Austin replenishing his burning lungs. Austin kicks and bucks in panic, but the "leprechauns" crush a shocking submission from the cocky heel.
What follows is nothing short of a melee. Enraged, Austin demonstrates veteran savvy, isolating each opponent with low blows. While Zip is hung out to dry in a tree of woe, Austin punches the crap out of Cap draped helplessly across the opposite corner. After he catapults Cap from the ring, he rakes Zip across the eyes and pounds him repeatedly in crippling over-the-knee backbreakers. The odds come crashing down all over Zip and Cap as Austin demonstrates why he's one of the most popular and intimidating muscle hunk heels in competition today.
"It's been a pleasure, my little green bitches," Austin snarls, leaving Zip and Cap's bodies and dreams piled limp and damp in the middle of the ring. "You didn't do shit out there," Zip snarls, shoving a finger in his partner's face. "All you did was get your ass kicked!" Incredulous, Cap points out that Zip had been the first to submit. A shoving match turns into full-on recrimination and a savage bro beatdown. The shattered remnants of the once soaring tag team can do nothing but arrange a date to settle the score and prove, once and for all, who was riding whose coattails.
