Jonny Firestorm: 5'5", 158 lbs The two ring legends lock horns in a huge struggle for dominance in the middle of the ring. What could be more thrilling than a contest between two of BG East's biggest smallest stars who also happen to be experienced professional wrestlers? Answer: Not a helluva lot! These two top rated indy pros seem to know that this is no ordinary BGE match-up. Oh no. This match is portentous! For two guys know not to be very shy with quips, bon mots, and put-downs, both are suprisingly demure as they face off. In fact in lieu of comment, a pale and hirsute Jonny, clearly less defined than the sun-tanned Lon, flexes his pecs at his opponent. Lon shows his disdain with a sly smirk as he chomps on his chewing gum.
Both guys seem wary of the other as they lock up and exchange the advantage back and forth through a series of smart and quick moves, testing the other trying to establish a psychological advantage in addition to a physical one. In fact, Lon even applauds his opponent for his agility. It's really a textbook lesson in professional wrestling finesse. After a few minutes of clever escapes and reversals, Lon proposes that they settle the matter with a submissions only match. What's on Lon's mind, we wonder. Jonny is well known as a submissions master, in the same vein as his Boss and mentor, Kid Leopard. Lon certainly has legitimate ring smarts and a body that's simply awe inspiring, but he's he's more known for power moves and pin finishers than submission victories.
When it seems that Jonny has made the error of luring the muscle stud into a test of strength, we witness his wile aided and abetted by his years of amateur experience as he not only reverses a predicament, but traps the muscle boy in a multi-limb twister. But evidently luscious Lon has been doing his homework and proves that his submission challenge is no fluke and no high-falutin' braggadocio. He ties up Jonny in ways he hasn't experienced in a long time given his impressive string of victory successes over the past couple of years. But despite his new arsenal of punishing submission holds, it's Lon who taps out first to one of the longest and most delicious full Boston Crabs we've seen in a very long time. Lon's exquisite body all arched and stretched is a thing of rare beauty.
Lon tries hard to equalize falls using his muscular superiority but Jonny weakened his back and his resolve and targets those beautiful legs. But in working over Lon's leg he situates himself between Lon's powerful legs and get trapped in a punishing body scissors. When a submission is not forthcoming, Lon adeptly switches to a full leg nelson cranking Jonny's neck and wrenching both his shoulders. Lon Dumont gets his equalizer. With both men tied at one submission apiece, things suddenly get very serious and very intense!
Jonny, none too happy at the rather painful resolution of the second fall, decides to up the ante with a boot to Lon's perfect abs and when the muscle boy doubles over, a huge forearm smash to his back, which drops him to the mat. And those astonishing abs are a tempting target which no heel can ignore. A couple of stiff elbow drops and trampling with Jonny's both feet and full body weight softens those abs. But someone as experienced as Jonny should know that any hesitation creates an opening for as wily a competitor as Lonny Dumont! And in this case it leads to Lon applying a brutal hold earning him the 2-1 submission advantage! If Jonny was mad after the first one.... well, stay tuned!
Suffice it to say that Jonny avails himself of every and any avenue for reclaiming the advantage. He uses moves fair and foul to assert his domination and secure an equalizing submission with an even nastier variation of the hold Lon just used to gain his short-lived lead! Four(!)consecutive neckbreaker variations lead to two brutal and helpless hangman finishers. These two ring warriors put on a startling and stunning display of power and punishment that will leave fans of submission holds breathless, drained, and delighted.
