Drake Marcos: 5'10, 155 lbs Messina rides and grinds his bigger opponent with a shoulder-wrecking hammerlock. Tim sits up tall as he forces Drake to choke himself out cold with a double arm Japanese strangle. The sexy, sweat-soaked stud forces Drake to get a faceful of his swelling package. Drake gasps for air and claws weakly at Tim's forearm as the rear naked choke spells near-doom. Tim's long, lean legs lay waste to Drake with a soul-sucking figure four headscissors.
The End of Innocence
Tim Messina and Drake Marcos are a close match in build and scrappiness. Like Drake, Tim has survived beatings from some of the best wrestlers at BG East. This main event is jobber versus jobber, a battle to gain or regain a smidgen of respect for their manhood and wrestling prowess. Barefoot and in cotton briefs, the two circle each other. Tim handily snaps Drake into a side headlock. Drake quickly escapes, grabbing Tim's upper body from behind. Tim breaks loose, and the two wrestle each other to the mat, Drake compressing his opponent's neck to control Messina with a front chancery.
So far, the tussle is friendly, like kids in the backyard or in the basement rec room; it's also respectful. Tim asks for a do-over, conceding that Drake outmaneuvered him this time. In the second go-round, Tim comes back at Drake with noticeably more oomph, speedily dragging him to the mat and clamping another headlock on. The two regain their footing, Drake still trapped, and Tim adding more wrenching pressure to the man's ears. Drake reverses and takes Tim back down to the mat with a headscissors. It is a tight clasp, which Messina cannot escape. Again, Tim calls for a time out, "one more time."
Tim looks winded. Drake smiles broadly, generously, feeling charitable. Eventually, the question of what constitutes a submission comes up. Tim claims he has not submitted yet: "You let me get up." Drake shakes his head, not sure what to make of the situation. At this point, Tim is visibly frustrated and riled up. His eyes darken, and he takes short crisp breaths. A knee to the gut drops Drake writhing to the mat. Tim follows with a volley of barefoot stomps to Drake's upper body. "You are one dumb ... rookie," Messina gloats. He pulls Marcos up, only to bludgeon him back down with a forearm smash.
For two or three more minutes, Messina treats Marcos like a wrestling dummy, tossing him around, pulling his hair. When Drake strikes back, he is decisive and quick. He piles a lot of hurt on Tim while holding him in place with a body scissors, and this time he is not falling for any more of the guy's shenanigans. He pounds Messina's chest and demands a proper submission. With great reluctance, Tim taps out. After a short break, Drake goes after Tim again, and Tim pleads for mercy. Drake does not back off, reapplying the body scissors and painfully crooking Messina's head back and to one side.
The back-and-forth action resumes after Tim punches his way free of Drake's grip. At this point, each man wants nothing more than to give his opponent the most humiliating and agonizing beating possible, and nothing is held back. There is no more mercy. The rage and the pain are as visceral as possible. The wrestlers put each other through hell. And they do it relentlessly, stirring up savage instincts that most wrestlers steer clear of. One man commands the last half of the 30-minute match, but the intensity keeps climbing through the roof. Faces get pushed humiliatingly into crotches, each of these men is stirred to new levels of excitement by the action. When one fighter is out cold, his assailant takes the opportunity to press his crotch against the other's slack body and steal long, sloppy-wet kisses. We have a word for this at BG East, and the word is SEXY.
