Ty Alexander: 5'7", 175 lbs Alexander paws at Connors' beefy pecs as he rides the big boy in a camel clutch variation. Ty wriggles and writhes in the muscled arms of Connors, his ribs crushed in a bearhug. Grant's power threatens to eclipse Ty as he schoolboys and flexes over the fallen trophyboy. Ty is like a dog with a bone as he rides Connors in a schoolboy, smothering him with his own gear. Both studs stripped to thongs but there can be only one as Ty wipes of sweat with Grant's gear.
"Jealous Much?"
Grant photobombs Ty's selfie, perhaps the perfect way to piss the Trophy Boy off. "Seriously?" Ty responds in clipped syllables. Grant tries to rile him further by mocking Alexander's luminous pink trunks. "Jealous much?" Ty replies, eyebrows arched. The two then compare biceps, and their smiling praises barely conceal their contempt for each other. When Ty notes that his chest is hairier, Grant decodes a hidden insult: "So that makes you more of a man?" Ty takes a moment and replies, "Yeah!" in a tone and slight shrug of shoulders that expresses the unspoken "obviously."
Ty is one of those wrestlers we watched as he polished his gimmick and ring psychology in front of the BGE cameras. His career here spans over twenty videos and two live BGE-promoted charity shows (Wrestling With Pride 1 & 2), and has launched Ty into the mainstream indie circuit this past year. Always on the edge of controversy, his hard-to-categorize persona is sharper and more caustic than ever. By contrast, Grant is still a newcomer, with a handful of matches under his belt. He has more to prove, so he may be hungrier than Ty. That last part is debatable, though. Ty has a huge appetite for attention and the finer things in life (tanning booths, high-end product, and gear mostly), and he is a long, long way from satisfied with just what he has already achieved.
When the attitude segment of our program ends, the fighting begins. Ty gets Grant in a headlock and drags him to his knees. Grant slips loose and rides a tight full nelson on Ty. An elbow to the ribs forces the release, but Grant gets a chinlock on Ty the very next second. Ty wriggles out, the two tussle, and Ty gets a single-leg crab hold on Connors. The hold gives Ty easy access to Grant's crotch, and Ty enthusiastically takes advantage of the chance to make his opponent squirm and break into a cold sweat. At this point Grant's face is as garishly pink as Ty's trunks nudging up against it. With surprising force, Connors busts loose and pins Alexander in classic schoolboy style.
When Ty rolls him over, Grant wraps his legs around the Trophy Boy's waist. Ty's agonized grimace is a good gauge of how strong Grant's solid thighs are. "Give?" Grant suggests. Ty growls "No!" and slams his fist to his challenger's unprotected belly. Then he shifts position so he can sit on Grant's face while punching his belly, tweaking his nipples, and applying claw holds to the stomach and chest. Ty transitions to a head scissors, but Connors yanks free and scrunches Alexander into a cradle and thigh stretch. Then it's Grant's turn to apply a firm clutch on Ty's crotch and from there a reverse bear hug, then the traditional chest-to-chest hug, digging wrists and forearms into the small of Ty's back, ultimately forcing a submission on the star.
Connors strips Alexander's trunks off to reveal a matching thong underneath -- who on earth could have predicted that? Grant doesn't wait for Ty to catch his breath before he attacks again, this time with a lumbar-snapping camel clutch. The strategy works. He cranks out a second submission just one minute after the first. We are a third of the way through this contest. What happens next will define the two men's destinies -- and reputations? --from this point on. It's a safe bet that Ty is not going to let his recent humiliations go unanswered. But how far will he go to pay Connors back? With Ty Alexander, that's a dangerous question, as he uses his butt and his wandering hand to distract wherever he can. Another question is, how long and far CAN Ty go? He's exhausted. Grant Connors is a brute in size and temperament, with a full quiver of punishment holds at his disposal. In the end, both men are stripped down to thongs, and one of these guys will try to get a photo taken that the other will never live down if it hits social media.
