Dimitri: 174 cm, 78 kg (5'9", 171 lbs) Lost in translation: Dmitri throws up a bicep flex as Kirk is bent and broken in the camel clutch. Kirk is hoisted, bent, broken, and carried around the ring over Dmitri's broad shoulder. Dmitri lets out a victorious roar as he drops the bulging American to his knees in a cobra clutch. Kirk writhes and claws desperately at Dmitri's thick arms as he struggles to survive the rear choke. A former best butt nominee lays broken on the mat, his humpy body writhing in pain.
Smashing Through the Language Barrier: "Pin, Submit, KO"
"Another new guy here, huh?" Kirk Donahue asks when he finds beefy Frenchman Dimitri warming up before their match. "Non, I do not speak English," Dimitri says awkwardly, following with a rapid fire French monologue about his estimation of Kirk's chances against him. Perpetual good guy Kirk is dumbfounded by the foreign tongue, mistaking a lack of English proficiency with ignorance. "I don't speak whatever you're speaking," Kirk shouts slowly, as if that might enable his words to cross the language barrier. "I'm Kirk Donahue," he says, holding out his hand to welcome the international visitor.
Kirk clearly doesn't know what Ash DeLeon learned the hard way in Wrestling with Pride 2. Although Dimitri's English may be rudimentary, he is more than fluent in high impact submission wrestling. Kirk mistakes the handsome hunk as a rookie, when in fact Dimitri has terrorized wrestling circuits throughout Europe for years before seeking stiffer competition in the U.S. He's thickly muscled, devilishly handsome, and in possession of a withering sneer that speaks volumes in any language.
"How you say," Dimitri struggles to find the English to respond to Kirk's friendly offer of a handshake. "Oh, oui, 'I do not want to know you,'" the Frenchman barks bluntly, swiping away Kirk's hand.
The style of this match is like the triathlon of professional wrestling. The winner will be the first to pin, then submit, and then knock out his opponent in successive falls. It takes a well-rounded wrestler to excel in all three skill sets required for a match like this. Brute strength, speed, stamina, and a mastery of submission holds are all necessary elements to claim victory. A solid ground game, technical skill, and spectacular conditioning are Kirk's calling card, and shockingly the mustached hero takes the first pinfall by rolling the stunned Frenchman up into a small package for the solid 3-count.
Kirk's self-congratulatory celebration is abruptly cut short with a teeth-rattling slap to the face that nearly spins his head off his neck. Steam is coming out of Dimitri's ears. One power move after another rocks the middleweight American hard. Trapped in the corner, Kirk takes boot stomps to the gut, forearm smashes to his chest, and punches to the face. Dimitri catapults his slack-jawed opponent from one corner to the next, following up with European uppercuts that nearly shatter Kirk's chiseled jawline. The ring room is already spinning for the American when Dimitri drives him into the mat with a German suplex, knocking the air out of Kirk's lungs just long enough to hold him place for the equalizing pin fall.
Kirk's speed and technique are pitted ferociously against Dimitri's relentless power and brutality. Submission attempts place both hunks' bodies in jeopardy from every angle. Dimitri liberally applies blunt force trauma to the head, setting up Kirk for a spine-snapping torture rack that displays Kirk's infamously massive package bouncing helplessly at the Frenchman's mercy. When Kirk grabs the momentum by the handle moments later, his figure-4 leglock has the bulging muscleman screaming profanity in off-color French, although Kirk can only successfully translate the submissive tap on the mat.
Worn thin and running low on fuel, both fiercely determined competitors go dark as they bid for the final and decisive knockout finish. Relentless punches to the face, leg chokes, and multiple attempts at sleeper holds place both men on the brink of disaster, but their skill and determination keep the battle roiling well past the point of total exhaustion. Simultaneous clothesline attempts leave them both flat on their backs, swimming in sweat, and digging into their reserves to claw on top and put the other man out for good. The final knockout is a victorious blow for one monolingual hunk, but it's going to set back international relations decades.

Dmitri is stretched on the bottom turnbuckle as Kirk bears down on his pecs with a big boot. Kirk looks to get one-up on the Frenchman with a humiliating, trunks-pulling roll up pin.
