You Should Never Meet Your Heroes
"Austin Cooper, unreal! I'm a big fan, man!" Calvin nearly trips over himself, fanboying all over the legendary golden boy when Austin stumbles across him stretching in the mat room. Calvin isn't the first wrestler to be awestruck at coming face-to-face with Austin. It's not just his mountainous pecs and sensationally hot ass, though Calvin certainly appreciates that as well. Fans and opponents alike respect the hell out of Austin's incredible versatility and his long, storied string of victories. Austin is the rare specimen who is equally devastating on the mats, in the ring, in the backyard, or behind the barn. Literally wherever he wrestles, he wins. Amateur, pro, shoots, bare-knuckled brawls...honing his skills at BG East, Austin has mastered them all.
"Nice to meet you," Austin says, shaking Calvin's hand. "How big of a fan are you?" "The biggest," Calvin struggles to put words to his devotion. "I've seen all your videos!"
"Do you have my name on you," Austin asks. "I see all your tats, but a true fan would have my name on them," the veteran insists. The rebuke deflates Calvin. "I'm a fan, not a stalker!"
Calvin has earned himself a whole lot of adoring fans himself, of course. The hairy chested, blond powerhouse doesn't have the depth of experience of Austin, but his gorgeous muscles and high impact wrestling have earned him nearly as many awards. Calvin's brand has been more along the lines of the strongman, the enforcer, and the seducer. He's not embarrassed at all to request some mat wrestling tips from an amateur wrestling expert like Austin, to expand his repertoire. "All right, I'll help you out a little bit," Austin concedes. "Go ahead and get in referee's position, and I'll tell you what you're doing wrong."
Maybe Austin got up on the wrong side of the bed this morning. Maybe he recognizes Calvin's thick muscles and leading man good looks as a nascent rival. Whatever his motivation, his training session quickly turns into a brutal hazing. He locks on a neck wrenching full nelson and shakes the muscle boy out savagely. "Hey, that's illegal," Calvin bitches. Austin snaps his tree trunk thighs around Calvin's muscled core and crushes him relentlessly, and Calvin whines about the infraction of strict amateur rules again. "I'm just trying to teach you a lesson, but this is illegal, that's illegal," Austin grows bitter. He brutally knees his fanboy in the balls. "Was that illegal? Absolutely right it was!"
"You're making it really hard to trust you," Calvin groans, curled into the fetal position and nursing his assaulted crotch. In reply, Austin smiles indulgently. "You're making it really hard to train you, you're so terrible!"
This isn't Calvin's first rodeo, though. When he gets his feet underneath him, he capitalizes on his sensational strength to lock Austin up into a revenge full nelson. "I thought that was illegal," Austin gasps. "Well, since we're doing illegal moves..." Calvin chuckles. He crushes the air out of the legend's lungs with a beefy bearhug. The fanboy works up a head of steam, enjoying the extra adrenaline pump that comes from slapping your former role model to the curb. Wrapping Austin up into a muscle vise of a cradle, he rubs Austin's face into his thick, hairy pecs, humiliatingly.
It's a bitter battle for hard earned respect. Calvin pulls out all of the stops to show his hero that he's ready to take his place as the reigning big, blond beefcake to beat. Pushed harder than he's been pushed in a long time, Austin struggles to keep pace with the next generation, growing more bitter and brutal by the minute. One hot hunk is hung out to dry in an inverted bearhug, staring down at the threat of a piledriver and having to admit that he's been shockingly owned. "Say you respect me," the proven top dog demands. The loser gasps in terror, "I... I respect you!" Whether your team Cooper or team Calvin, you'll be a big, big fan of this old-school-meets-new all-underwear mat battle.
