"Are you gonna stand there? Or are you gonna come to the mat like the man you pretend to be, and face me?" Ethan Axel Andrews issues this cocky invitation to initiate a very private showdown. Brendan Byers looks gigantic next to Ethan, which is saying a lot since Ethan is not small. At all. Brendan mocks Ethan's modest musculature ("modest" compared to Brendan's beef). Brendan thinks ... no, he outright says that beating Andrews on the mat is going to be a "cakewalk." Brendan may want to curb his attitude because even though he cut his teeth at BG East, his earliest matches were ring matches, not mat matches like this one, and he was something of a bitch-boy for BGE legends like Joe Mazetti and Brooklyn Bodywrecker. Of course, all that was before Brendan famously transformed himself into the muscle-brute he is today, and started his "let them eat 'cake" reign.
Ethan, by contrast, has a rich history in collegiate-style wrestling, MMA and private pro action, and he has cut plenty of big, big-mouthed strongmen down to size, and even earned the praise of the Master of Submission Kid Leopard himself. From the start, it's clear that, despite physical differences, these two eager brawlers are evenly matched: Ethan takes Brendan down to his knees with a body lock; Brendan pulls Ethan's hands apart and snapmares Andrews to the mat. Ethan snags Brendan in a figure-four headlock; Byers pries himself loose with his bare hands and gets Andrews in a pinning position, then rolls over and suspends Brendan in the air. All this in a minute! In sixty seconds, we see the pattern of sexy give and take that defines the rest of this 35-minute major mat battle.
What this particular match has on offer is a surfeit of grunts and groans, provided by two highly skilled and erotically competitive guys who know a thing or two about kicking ass. Byers uses his weight and bulk to roll Andrews around the mat. Andrews is resilient, withstanding pressure, his lithe body coiling around Byers's muscle like a snake. He's also quick to push to the sexy parts of the contest, bearing down on Brendan with a schoolboy pin, his crotch pressed hard against the big man's face. Brendan breathes heavily, catching a whiff of spandex and talcum. Then, with a heave-ho Byers reverses, paralyzing Ethan in a single-leg crab hold, not forgetting to grab Andrews's balls and rattle them, or more.
Brendan keeps a tight hold on Ethan even while shifting positions, yet Ethan clutches Brendan's head between his thighs and brings him down, reaching back with one arm to grab his foot and pull it up to tighten a figure-four headlock like a steel nut. Brendan gets a closeup view of Ethan's legendary butt cheeks; he doesn't seem too happy about the scenery. He smacks his hand to Ethan's ass - to submit! Ethan insists on a few more taps before he releases, then squats on Brendan's face for a pin fall. He gets only a two-count. Needless to say, Byers is hungry for payback as soon as he can free himself of Andrews's wiry limbs.
The two run neck and neck for the rest of the fight, a flurry of forearm smashes, fisticuffs, backbreakers, and rough and real rasslin'. The reversals slow down, beginning around the match's midpoint, each man looking like a winner by turns. In the end, the two entwined sweat-soaked bodies come crashing down to the mat as one man maintains a one-minute chokehold for a finish you definitely will not want to miss!
