A little known-secret of BGEast is that ring wrestlers are required to do an 'audition' match before they actually are signed to wrestle. These matches are always taped'part of the audition process is to see how they look on camera, after all (only the best will do for our discerning fans!)'but rarely, if ever, do those matches ever see the light of day. Irish stud Jaxx was no exception to this rule'and honestly, had he not gotten into a dispute with The Boss about his match for this catalogue, this classic might never have been released! Jaxx has proven popular, and thought his success in the ring as well as his fan popularity entitled him to, um, shall we say, talk back one time too many? To humble the pride of Ireland, we now bring to you his audition'vs the mighty Bulldog Barzini! Talk about unlucky! 'Why on earth would you have a new young lad audition against a guy who gives other wrestlers nightmares?' you might ask. If you can survive in the ring against the Bulldog, you just MIGHT have a future in the ring. And if you can BEAT the unbeatable'well, stardom goes without saying. The big dog has never lost a match, and while he might be made to submit once in a blue moon'that only inspires him to go for blood.
Jaxx warms up in the ring when the Bulldog stalks in. He climbs through the ropes and with a dismissive hand gesture, gets Jaxx to step aside from the mirror so he can remove his red silk robe. 'You're nothing,' Jaxx laughs, and for his laughter is rewarded with getting the robe tossed in his face! Jaxx allows the robe to flutter to the ground outside the ring, and then takes off his own satin jacket. The stare-down face-off is almost worth the price of admission alone!
