I May Be A Rookie, But I'm No Punk!
You have to give young Alexi credit - he never shrinks away from a challenge, no matter how daunting. Not many in the BG East stable have been willing to get in the ring with Matt Stryker! Stryker is one of the nation's top pros on the indy circuit, and it's not hard to see why. Stryker is the whole package: thickly muscled body, hairy chest, handsome face and the skills and experience from years of training on the mats and in the ring. Stryker's BGEast debut against Paul Hudson was one of the biggest beatings in the annals of BGE - something to make the Brooklyn Bodywrecker stand up and take notice! Stryker has a mean streak a mile wide, and he wants nothing more than to become the biggest bully in the BGE stable. "He looks like he'd be a good practice dummy," was all Stryker said when told Alexi wanted a chance at him in the ring. "Bring him on - hell, I won't even break a sweat." And as soon as Stryker climbs into the ring, the cocky indy star's contempt for his opponent is obvious. "You're a tall one," he observes with a smirk, "I'm gonna have to climb up on you for a headlock." His edge in experience is soon as obvious as the game of cat-and-mouse he is playing. He is able to counter every small advantage the inexperienced rookie throws at him - until the rookie desperately clamps a brutal, rib-crushing body scissors around his ribcage! Stryker has to reach down deep into his own big bag of tricks to come up with a counter - but the desperate rookie hangs on, until a counter move enables a furious Stryker to clamp his own scissors on the sexy one - "Now how's that feel, punk?" Over-confidence, though, has been the downfall of many a pro in the ring, and Alexi somehow manages to clamp a head scissor armbar combo on the pro that has the indy star tapping in a hurry! Could this be the biggest upset in BGEast history? "I may be a rookie," Alexi pants as he tries to regroup for Round 2, "but I'm no punk!" Sounds like fightin' words to us!
