Bring It!: The USA versus the UK
The internet has internationalized the wrestling world. For professional wrestling this has meant the wholesale exportation of American style action - for better or worse. For the gay wrestling underworld it has meant the opening of a myriad of opportunities as wrestlers from around the world contact and connect with one another. For those able to travel, it means exciting international match-ups. Such is the case with Paolo and Perry. When Paolo expressed an interest in joining the BG ranks, Perry's match with Andy Hammer had just been released. Paolo was excited by Perry's aggression, his lean physique and virtually identical stats and thought he'd make the ideal opponent for his debut match. A few emails later the challenge was proposed and accepted and a match date for the BG East 'grotto' mat room was booked.
Perry is well known and well regarded on the Brit underground wrestling scene, with a win record far exceeding his losses. Paolo is making similar forays on the American scene, traveling around the country to meet mat challenges. And they prove to be well-matched in this encounter, hitting the mats in aggressive grappling with neither initially assuming dominance - and it's not for want of trying! Perry scissors Paolo and announces "this it it". Well, not exactly, as Paolo escapes and reverses the pin, equally confident, tells Perry to "suck my pit!" The Brit lad fails to comply and when he traps Paolo in a cross body scissors demanding that Paolo "give!", the blond Italo-American's reply is "FUCK YOU!" - until Perry squeezes even harder forcing Paolo's painful submission! First fall to the lean mean Brit!
