After a gentlemanly handshake between the opponents, the bell rings and the action is on! What follows is one of the finest exhibitions of scientific wrestling skill ever recorded in the BGEast arena. The two put on a clinic of holds and reversals that any aspiring wrestler should study. An impressive and complex arm lock sequence is followed by a series of headlocks and reversals followed by an exchange of skull-crushing headscissors! When the two warily get to their feet and start to circle each other again, they exchange respectful nods to the otherâ??s skill. Impressive! Two stars totally at the top of their game.
With the battle of skill a maddening draw, inevitably a test of strength is the next challenge and again, Devitt The Up And Comer matches Stryker The Established muscle for muscle, frustrating the hunky hitman. Bad boy Stryker is done playing fair and heâ??s ready to take it to the Irish kid hard and mean! A booming boot to the chest drops Devittâ??but the youngster is quick and skilled and fights hard to prevent Stryker from taking advantage. But Stryker is a ring master. He didn't get to where he is without taking risks and taking his opponents down. Matt Stryker ALWAYS has a game plan!
And that plan is to hobble his opponent, and so he puts on an amazing show of how to take an opponentâ??s leg out. Over and over, he puts pressure to Devilâ??s right knee: well placed kicks and elbow drops, spinning toe holds, reverse figure 4â??sâ??Stryker seamlessly moves from one brutal knee-wrecking move to another as Devil screams out in pain. A combination reverse figure 4 with a half-camel clutch has Devitt screaming out a submissionâ??and Stryker immediately goes right back to work on that knee yet again. Devilâ??s not done, thoughâ??he has some tricks up his own sleeve. But will he be able to survive the onslaught from Stryker to level the battle, and come out the winner?
