If you look up 'cocky' in the dictionary, you might just find a picture of Aryx Quinn. He has cut a swathe through the BGEast ranks since his arrival, and he loves nothing more than making an 'example' out of his opponent. Even his own humbling at the hands of The Brooklyn Bodywrecker didn't snap him out of his strong sense of his own 'greatness' - all it did was increase his hunger to take it out another hapless opponent. He has to prove himself again - and pity poor Brendan - the cute, tall, lean boy next door, who not only makes the questionable judgement of requesting the match with Aryx, but then commits the even greater and more inexcusable transgression of climbing through the ring ropes, interrupting Aryx's ritual narcissistic mirror-image, muscle-posing, self love-fest. "What's wrong with you? Can't you see I'm busy posing here?" Aryx spits out as he takes a look at his opponent. Aryx's eyes glint with contemptuous joy as he takes a good look at what he obviously sees as, not an opponent, but his next victim - kind of like a young stud lion seeing a pretty antelope at the watering hole. And so, Dr. Quinn's Clinic of Pain and Punishment is open for business! Class One: the scissors. Aryx's legs are well muscled instruments of torture, and he gives hapless young Brendan his first class at the school of tight squeezes. One thing you have to say about Aryx - he's a giver. He gives and gives and gives as he works variation after variation of the hold on the screaming youngster. But Brendan is an ingrate, apparently - he just won't say "I give," so Aryx has to keep teaching and keep giving. Finally, just when it looks as though Brendan's head just might be popped off his neck, Aryx treats him to a variation he credits to none other than Kid Vicious - and very vicious it is. Even with his face muffled under Aryx's bubbly butt, Brendan screams out his submission, again and again. And then, finally, the good Doctor concludes his tutorial, 'Scissors 101'.
