Centerpiece's Ball Bashing Begins
The Boss doesn't usually have a problem with egomaniacal wrestlers - he knows that it's actually an important part of the mindset necessary for a man to become a gladiator. Usually he just finds it highly amusing. But nothing prepared him for the colossal ego that is Jobe Zander, the self-styled 'Centerpiece' and 'superstar' of BGEast. He swept into BGEast promising to mow down the current stable of stars without breaking a sweat - and then he climbed into the ring for the first time. Completely demolished by Cole Cassidy, and then beaten and humiliated by a considerably smaller Jonny Firestorm, a smarter wrestler would tuck his tail (and centerpiece) between his legs, keep his mouth shut and not antagonize The Boss - or the other wrestlers. Ah, but that wouldn't be our Jobe, would it? As each match was released, Jobe was all over the message boards screaming about Cole's 'cheap shots' and being 'set up' by The Boss with Firestorm. "Okay," The Boss shrugged. "Why don't you train with Vicious?" After all, if it's low blows Jobe can't handle, what better way to buck up than to practice with the Chairman of the Cheap Shot? And off they went to the practice ring. Less than ten minutes later, KV was back in The Boss' office. "He's a pathetic puddle of sweat and tears," KV sneered.
Jobe, furious, demanded a 'rematch''on camera! "What kind of company is this?" He ranted at The Boss, spittle flying from his mouth. The Boss snarled, "You want him? You got him!" Off Jobe went - and The Boss summoned KV to the office. "Make it last," The Boss told him, "Punish this loud-mouthed punk. You do this right - and you can have the pick of the litter for your next match. But it has to be up to MY standards, you got that?" And then added, "And bring me his trunks for my trophy cabinet."
And from the gleam in KV's eyes, The Boss knew he was going to get exactly what he wanted - after all, who taught KV every dirty, sadistic trick in the book?
