Lon instructs the rookie in the ritual of pre-match muscle posing. Pose by pose, the rookie compares his raw muscle with the seasoned physique of a competition-ready bodybuilder. On target to achieve prime condition for his upcoming physique contest, Lon is sculpted of shredded, granite-hard muscle with barely an ounce of body fat on him. While Morgan isn't nearly in the competition-ready condition of his veteran opponent, he's a big, beefy pro wrestling powerhouse reminiscent of a young Bruno Sammartino, and even Lon is grudgingly forced to admit that Morgan looks mighty impressive. The more Lon praises Morgan's muscle, the cockier the rookie becomes. Lost in appreciation for his own image in the mirror, he fails to notice his opponent prepare to launch an assault from behind.
Lost in the reverie of his own stunning reflected image and star-struck by Lon's attention and ego-nourishing praise, Morgan's personal Cruise-control blinds him from what's about to hit him: A clothesline off a rebound from the ropes, his handsome face pummeled into the corner turnbuckle, and his deep dark eyes raked across the rope leave the rookie instantly stunned. "Lesson one is never turn your back!" Lon barks in his face.
The seasoned veteran has an extensive lesson plan in store to instruct Morgan in the finer details of being a heel. "Heels always pull the hair," Lon illustrates, dragging the rookie up to his feet by a fistful of Morgan's dark locks. "And heels use every advantage that they can," Lon explains as he rakes the rookie's eyes across the steel grommets down the length of his boots. The veteran introduces Morgan to every short cut, every dirty trick that stretches the rules of ring etiquette. Morgan's pride and joy, his meaty pecs, get pummeled and stomped as the beefy hunk hangs helplessly in the ropes. Lon parades his opponent around the ring in order to smash his face into one turnbuckle after another.
