It's Only a Movie, Bro
Freddy and Nathan are stuck in a motel room they booked together, with nothing to do after a hard day of circuit training camp, so they quarrel over who gets control of the television remote. Freddy wants to watch a scary movie. Nathan doesn't like scary movies. It's odd that Nathan, fearless in the ring or mat room, has qualms about watching a horror movie in a motel room. Maybe we have Alfred Hitchcock to blame, along with the long line of movie murders in motels. Freddy is more than insistent, nagging, in fact, but Nathan stubbornly resists: "Life is terrifying enough."
Nathan grabs the remote out of Freddy's hand and tosses it. "I'm gonna show you something more scary than fucking what you're trying to watch on the damn TV!" Nathan rips off Freddy's shirt first, then Freddy, Nathan's. It's hard to disagree with Nathan: motel wrestling is way more fun than any horror movie, the perfect mix of fear and testosterone, sweat and hormones. "That was my favorite fucking tank top." Nathan gripes as he wraps the shreds around Freddy's neck, but Freddy pulls free and grabs Nathan in a headlock, and the two bodies fall on the covers.
Both wrestlers are new to BG East and training hard. Freddy debuted a little over a year ago in a Wrestle Shack brawl with Mason Brooks. Nathan FX joined the roster this year, in a star-making poolside battle with Kirk Donahue. Slim but daring, Nathan arrived with five or so years of experience elsewhere. Freddy may look cuddly, but he's a fighter, more belligerent with each new BGE match. He's also got about fifteen pounds on Nathan, an advantage he puts to good use in this fight. In matches against Donahue and the equally intimidating Kayden Keller, Nathan's early bouts at BG East testify to his fearlessness, but so far, we haven't seen him win a match.
"Get your fuckin' dick out of my face, dude!" Nathan snarls when Freddy squats on his chest. Freddy shuts him up by shoving his ripped T-shirt into Nathan's mouth. Pinning Nathan's wrists to the mattress, Freddy digs his knee into the hot-headed hipster's gut. "Shut up and quit complaining." Campbell has had it with this guy. He uses Nathan's right arm to choke him, but the hold fails to shut Nathan up. Freddy flips Nathan over on his back and scissors his waist. Now Freddy uses both of Nathan's arms to choke him.
Freddy rides Nathan's back, fish-hooking the corner of Nathan's mouth. Nathan tries to bite the finger but can't. Then Freddy goes for the classic bitch move, pulling Nathan's head up and back by a fistful of the newcomer's streaked hair. Nathan's hoarse gasps for air sound ironically like the growls of the movie monsters he fears. Freddy shifts position to a cross armbreaker with Nathan still prone on the bed. He pulls Nathan's dark red briefs into a wedgie for added effect. Of course, at this point a spanking is the natural next step.
Soon, with Nathan FX reversing, lifting Campbell off the mattress and slamming him back down with force, he goes for the toes, making Freddy shriek like "the little bitch". It's a beautiful reversal and a well-deserved punishment, but this fight is just starting, with slaps, gags, chokes, claw holds, nelsons, ball grabs, leg splits, elbow drops, wedgies, body slams, hair-yanking, hardons, and more yet to come. BG East style, this match has a little of everything but wakeup calls.
