"Another day, another dollar." Obviously, Ace is less than thrilled to share the ring with some hairdresser-slash-wannabe-wrestler he's never heard of. "I am so tired of BG East bringing me all of these LOSERS!" Nathan pretends not to know who Ace is, thus riling up an already riled-up heel. Ace hunches down, right arm extended, inviting a lockup, fingers wiggling. Thinking he's clever (bad idea, by the way), Nathan asks whether Ace is trying to tickle him. Somehow Ace's right foot slams into Nathan's gut. Nathan's butt hits the mat. It's time to teach this pasty-faced jobber a lesson, Aarons style. Ace rolls Nathan onto his stomach and stomps on his kidneys.
BGE fans know all about Ace's sour moods and hot temper. He's fought a platoon of challengers, many of them still wet behind the ears. Guys like Luke Lonza, Richie Douglas, Nino Leone, Toney Rico, Chase Addams, and Anton Alvarez, to name a few, composed a mixed bag of soon-to-be-forgotten nobodies (as Ace sees them), talentless wannabes, and, for the few not so easily scared off, highly revered fan favorites. Most of his opponents wound up as sticky stuff on the soles of Ace's wrestling shoes. He fought Kirk Donahue twice, once in a seismic no-holds-barred battle (a battle for the history books, in our opinion). But he has also been dazzled by hot newbies like Dio Characi - and turned almost defenseless against the Brazilian's hypnotic charm (Hunkbash 27).
Nathan FX is new to BG East, so maybe he had no clue whom he would be facing in the ring. He has already faced some tough customers, the likes of Kirk Donahue and Kayden Keller (in a wildly entertaining beatdown in front of a live audience: Wrestlefest 4). Nathan has a smug, self-satisfied face that practically invites a hard knuckle punch. Maybe that's what irks Aarons. Nathan's condescending attitude towards his opponent invites a beating. But honestly, Nathan could have been as polite as pie, and Ace would still have beaten him black and blue. That's just Ace's nature, just as smugness comes easily for Nathan - as much good it will do him in this ring.
The onslaught of Ace's rage catches Nathan by surprise, a shock he may not recover from in time to save his ass. Ace pulls Nathan off the mat and repeatedly punches or stomps him back down again. Nathan moans and gasps for air, emitting what sounds like a raspy chuckle, inspiring Ace to step on his throat. Ace claims he's had better matches with a broomstick and steps on Nathan's forehead, bearing down on it as Nathan's long gangly body thrashes hopelessly. "You're not that cute!" Ace shouts, rubbing salt into the wound. A knee drop to the face bounces Nathan's whole body. Ace applies a standing leg lock. Nathan slaps the mat repeatedly, but Ace talks over Nathan's bawling.
"I'm about to JACK you up!" Ace promises, having already wrecked his challenger. His usual mat bombardments are mixed with nostril hooks, hair pulling, neck cranking, arm bars, leg locks, and attacks against the ring ropes and turnbuckles. In the final minutes both bodies are shiny with sweat. As usual, Ace reaches down into his trunks to dampen his fingers with sweat, which he flings at his writhing, semiconscious prey. This is a tough, gritty TKO that's sure to haunt every wrestling fan's dreams, including daydreams.
