It's undeniable Ash DeLeon showed a knack for heeling, right from his debut match. He'd done his rounds through the underground wrestling scene, but his babyface looks meant he still had dues to pay before being taken seriously as a heel. And now, in a span of just a couple of years, most will not dare to bet against him. Trained and guided by the likes of Kayden Keller and possibly The Boss himself, Ash is not the man you would like to have to find on the opposite side of the ring. At least not if you are looking for a clean and fair match. His opponents, even those that have narrowly escaped with a W, have ended up feeling the pain for days in the areas a man can be hurt the most. A combination of natural talent, barbarous kinks, and the experience of 20+ matches has now made him one of BGE household names.
On the other hand, it took Brendan Byers even more to get to where he is today. From almost quitting after being on the receiving end of merciless and legendary beatings, a lengthy sabbatical served to let him regroup, recharge and restart his troubled journey at BGE. He has now rebranded himself the 'Brutal' Brendan Breyers, and with good reason. He worked long hours, months, and years in the gym, looking for a chance to move up the ranks. The result was a complete attitude change, and 45 pounds of additional muscle in his now-imposing frame have helped him be more competitive and destructive than ever, even taking revenge on the poor souls that remind him of his old self. However, it still infuriates him to think it took him 20 years to reach the same elite level someone like Ash is now in. The Boss knew such resentment could only be resolved in one way: by granting Brendan the chance to break down his fellow heel.
With 'BRUTAL' emblazoned on the back of his classic black trunks and completing the look with black MMA gloves, there is no doubt Brendan has never looked more menacing. He stretches and flexes while waiting for his foe, who doesn't waste a second upon entry to drill through Brendan's ego. "Oh, look! I found a relic!" Ash's verbal dig distracts Brendan, and even though the Brutal one promises a lesson, he is the one who gets schooled. Ash uses the distraction to gutpunch the bigger man, an example of "one of his specialties." A sharp bulldog introduces the other one: "...breaking big boys like you, too." Ash's taunts clearly push Brendan's anger to the limit, but his reluctance to concede a submission only fuels Ash's determination. Digging deeper and dirtier, Ash puts the big man through the wringer, from inside and outside the ropes, above and below the waist, yet a submission becomes more elusive as time passes. After all, Brendan became one of the most feared heels only after becoming one of the most resilient jobbers BGE has seen.
Brute force can only do so much, so outsmarting an opponent is what makes a great heel. As Brendan suffers under Ash's boot, a break opens for the tables to be turned. Using his brute force and the sheer rage of being manhandled by a 'brat' close to half his age, Brendan lifts Ash up in the air to let him fall square onto his knee. Now it is Ash's time to soak the full force and pent-up humiliation of Bryer's wrath, which will end up with him upside down, ready to become a victim of the Brutal one signature finisher. And if Ash thought that was all, he was wrong... oh, so wrong!
This is what you get when you put two clever, destructive forces on a collision path; a thrilling, unpredictable encounter that will have your heart racing. As the action continues, both gladiators just won't back down until someone's ego takes a final blow. An edge-of-your-seat finale, with a power move in their sweaty undergear that leaves one of these men sprawled out cold, twitching on the mat, in a cruel ending reminiscent of how his career began.
