Get Out of My Spotlight!, or, Stop Hogging That Mirror!
Kieran Dunne arrives late at the BG East studios, relaxed but ready to kick some ass. He's got on his grey hoodie and track pants, like he simply rolled out of bed this morning and remembered he had go to fight someone. Meanwhile, inside, an earnest and eager Chace LaChance is back in the ring, stretching out his taut muscular body, doing yoga poses, and practicing some of his mixed martial arts moves. The boy is definitely in fine shape, but up till now has really only wrestled in tandem with a partner. Can he handle the spotlight on his own? And yes, those famous red trunks of his are back and tighter than ever! He's created a mini-sensation among BGE fans, well deserved, not just for his exotic looks but for his tenacity in the ring. He's definitely an up and comer. And therein lies the rub!
Perennial babyface and (more often than not) jobber Kieran knows all about being the sensation of the moment. From his sensational debut mat match versus Josh Goodman (that's MISTER Joshua to you!) Kieran has been in the BG spotlight over and over again. He's taken his lumps and bumps from big and small, heel and babyface alike, and he's still standing strong, still competing and still looking HOT, even if he says so himself! Now he's got to defend his honor - as well as his BGE status - against a talented, sexy, eager and very ambitious rookie opponent who's gunning for glory!
Primping in the ring, wearing his now trademark golden wrestling bikini, Kieran lazily checks out his bed head and flexes his biceps and legs in the mirror. "Big muscles don't mean nothing!" Chace gulps, jumping about like a little kid trying to impress his big brother. "You don't scare me," Chace repeats over and over, as if he's trying to convince himself that he can take on the beefier, more experienced young veteran and finally prove he's worth keeping around in the BG East stable, and not just as a tag team side-kick or a side-show to some other more established BGE star. Kieran's laid-back attitude shows a quiet confidence in sharp contrast to Chace's jittery nerves and jocular jumping around.
And like any malevolent big brother, Kieran throws Chace from one corner of the ring to the other, clothes-lining him and then ordering him to stay down on the mat while he plants a big boot on the rookie boy's chests and flexes like the Adonis he thinks he is! Kieran is clearly enjoying the prospect of making Chace LaChance his little bitch.
