Paul made quite a splash in his debut match when he teamed with Cameron Matthews to take on Damon Clark. He gets to show what he can do on his own here - and what a show! He has his work cut out for him here. His opponent is a seasoned, bigger, older pro who disses and dismisses the cute young blond rookie: "Don't say I didn't warn you, junior!" And when he grinds Paul's pretty face onto his boot: "How's it taste, hotstuff?" And Hot Stuff is an apt moniker for young Paul, not just because of his hot, clinging silver trunks and boots but because this is clearly a kid with skills. His amateur training clearly informs his mat work and his aerial technique is second to none. He ties the dark heel into knots and gets one near-pinfall after another. But the Panther has been around and knows how to curtail a babyface comeback with a stiff shot or a quick boot. But Paul is resourceful and quick and repeatedly brings the big black brawler to the edge of defeat. But stomps to the gut, repeatedly slams and throws and a grinding heel to the groin ("That looked so good I think I'm gonna have to do it again!") leaves our silver-clad golden boy groaning and grabbing his gonads....
