Clad in a barely there blue bikini, Aryx, BG East's ballsy bad boy du jour, marvels at his own reflection. Extending a leg and flexing his bare foot, he brags, "I'm the next Kevin von Erich." But trouble brews: after a couple of recent mishaps, Aryx's status as Kid Leopard's chosen is at risk. Less than impressed with KL's choice of a training partner, Aryx sneers at singlet-clad Steel, "You're old and not good looking--how can you possibly compete with this?", displaying his impressive and proportionate physique. But when Steel sends him flying, reverses his headlock into back suplex and catches him in mid-air for a big backbreaker, Aryx takes a hike, skittering from the ring, explaining, "I'm barefoot; I slipped!" A cheating choke on the ropes turns the tide. Immobilizing the bodybuilder by binding him to the ringpost by the straps of his own singlet, Aryx notes, "That's a big chest--makes a big target," before tearing into him with axehandles, chops and forearms. Even outmuscled and outweighed by an opponent 4" taller and 30 lbs. heavier, Aryx seems to be on his way to proving his point: He is no fluke! (next page...)
