Mike Martin is a fan favorite on both sides of the Atlantic with a baker's dozen of BGE releases already under his belt, and here he is, in silky burgundy briefs, looking hotter than ever. He has an intent stare and boy-next-door good looks. What the fans like most about him, though, is that he is a cunning and agile scrapper, who brings sensuality and brutality in equal portions to every fight.
This is Rob Chandler's second match with BG East, having debuted in BritBouts 14, all but picking the meat off the bones of fellow newcomer Jean Luc Menard. His bad-boy image and killer instinct promise to make this match with Martin one of the most exciting exhibitions we've ever seen and one of the biggest challenges of Mike's career!
Chandler saunters in, in a retro Mohawk and tight bleached jeans, braces hanging loose, lace-up boots, and a tight black Ben Sherman pullover, looking very much the working-class skinhead. He holds no awe for Martin's reputation or his impressively long list of wins. In fact, Chandler acts as if he's never even heard of Mike Martin. Right off, he dominates the veteran wrestler, who is momentarily caught off guard, perhaps, by the punk's arrogance, quirky virility, and easily provoked aggressiveness. Martin manages to strip off Chandler's shirt in the course of the brawl, but the sneering bootboy quickly puts him out of action with a body slam, a series of punches to the gut, and a tight sleeper hold. Stunned and reeling, Martin shakes his head, trying to regain his bearings.
Chandler takes advantage of the lull to unlace and remove his boots, slowly and in no particular hurry at all, rubbing Mike's nose in his startling and humiliating first fall KO. Mike doesn't take this well. He leaps on the muscular hunk, grabs him by the neck, and applies his own speciality sleeper hold and knocks Chandler out cold. With his heel lodged against Chandler's jaw, he strips off the punk's pants to reveal a sexy brown speedo underneath. If Chandler didn't already know who Mike Martin is, he sure as hell does now!
After kicking his butt, Martin orders Chandler to put his boots back on. He paces impatiently, checking out his muscles in the mirror before hovering close as Chandler ties the final knot. Mike springs, but Chandler's waiting for him, deflects his attack and squeezes him into a camel clutch till Mike cries in submission. Mike hates to submit, though. He springs right up and scissors Chandler's head and starts pummeling his gut. Chandler reverses and delivers the same in return. This match is gonna be bruising!
