The Ego-Buster: Avenging a Bruised Ego
Kid Karisma has been a veritable terror lately! The fiery, red-headed muscle stud has been tearing through the BG East ranks with increasing cockiness, punky panache, an incomparable sense of humor - all capped off with and infectious and irrepressible joie de vivre. On the mats, in the ring... hell, even in the pool... Kid K has been destroying - and annoying - all comers, and his star has not just been on the rise but shooting stratospheric. His ego has also grown commensurate with his string of victories and fierce fan affection, and he's arguably become a bit more reckless with each decisive victory flex he's flashed overtop of his defeated opponents. A pertinent and prescient warning from The Boss: "Kid, your head is getting as big as your ass!"
Reckless is one thing you don't want to be if you're facing tattooed bar brawler Hoyt Riley. Big Mitch Colby made Hoyt's introduction to BG East wrestling a painful lesson in humility. Hoyt made the veteran wrestler work (and suffer!) hard in a sweat soaked wrestling contest that turned into a virtual all-out brawl. But Mitch handed Hoyt a humiliating pounding that might have made better men think twice about signing on for another BG East match. Down and dirty Hoyt, however, was determined to avenge his bruised ego on the skull of whomever The Boss decided to toss in front of him next.
Kid K and Hoyt face off poolside in the Florida sunshine. The cameraman barely has time to bring the picture into focus before the boys are already down to business, locked up in the middle of the mat. Cocky Kid K has just barely squeezed his famous muscle glutes into tight, white, designer trunks - and showing those hot cheeks off has become a big part of his 'schtick'. Hoyt's tan lines are showing around his unlabeled baby blues. The red-headed muscleman dances on the balls of his feet, slapping and jabbing annoyingly to get a rise out of his studly rookie opponent. Hoyt, on the other hand, is coiled like a viper.
Hoyt is determined to go straight to his strong suit: brawling. Kid K hardly sees it coming before the charging bull drops him to the mat with a knee to the gut and pounds a barrage of fists into the red-head's powerfully muscled upper back. Hoyt manhandles Kid K in the opening moments of this match in a way that Karisma hasn't seen since his first, brutal initiation at the hands of Cage Thunder. Locking him up and stretching out all those rippled muscles in a bow and arrow, Hoyt uses a handful of his opponent's red-hair to send the cocky young stud a crystal clear message: this is going hurt!
