The two warm-up and stretch before their match on the mats. It's hot in the gym, and Tony is completely focused. He doesn't look at his opponent, doesn't acknowledge him, which is not to Tyler's liking. Tyler tosses some barbs Tony's way, but they are deflected and ignored. And as they get down to the business at hand, Tyler smirks. He is determined to get under Tony's skin one way or the other. As the match begins, it soon becomes apparent that both are skilled and strong, and the symmetry of their strongly muscled bodies start creating magnificent wrestling art on the mats - sweaty, heaving kinetic sculpture. First one dominates, then the other takes control as they work each other and try to wear the other down. They trade submissions, but Tony is remaining cool and calm, which is starting to wear on Tyler. His emotions start coming to the surface, and when Tyler gets frustrated, he starts to take some shortcuts. And he can't resist taunting Tony when he is in control.
As the struggle for dominance continues, some cracks start to show in Tony's composure, but he quickly regains control. It's about tactical skill for him, not emotion. Tyler's annoyance grows, and even though he can dominate Tony for a time, Tony always manages to come right back at him. But the cracks in Tony's composure widen and deepen, and his patience ishis tested to the limit. The match gets nastier and dirtier, and rather than respecting each other's skill, it becomes a desperate battle to beat and humiliate the other.until it becomes obvious that the only way this is going to end is with one man standing over an opponent, who is splayed out unconscious and utterly defeated! A marvelous mat gem!
