"I didn't know it was senior citizens' night here at the YMCA," Alexi dryly wisecracks. Christopher Bruce doesn't even flinch. He's heard this "old-timer" shit already. Plenty. "Do I even know you?" he sneers at the upstart. "No, but you will," Alexi assures him.
In the presence of the veteran, Adamov can't help but feel a little intimidated. Perhaps that's the reason he can't resist taking jab after jab at Bruce's age: "How long," he deadpans, "you been lifting weights ... thirty ... thirty-five ... forty years" A real throwdown is in the works, Alexi itching to get his hands on the legend, Bruce wondering whether he's still got enough fight left in him. The weight work-out complete, the wrestlers give each other the once-over, and Adamov leads the way to the BG East basement mat room.
On his way out, Bruce shakes his head and murmurs under his breath, "These fuckin kids ... these fuckin kids." Then, before following his young opponent to the mats, he takes a second to flash his killer biceps at the camera. Big and hard as ever. And when he enters the fabled BG grotto, it must be like deja vu all over again, only with the roles reversed. Chris surely can remember being among the first to wrestle in this hallowed space, and being the same object of total desire and wonder as this Russian boy is today. Stripping the wunderkind pretty boy of his baggy shorts and down to his bulging undagear is a sure-fire way to trip him off his lofty pedestal! Munch on THAT reality, punk!
The two fighters are closely matched. Spurred on by the de-panting indignity Alexi takes an early lead, only to find himself clamped between Chris's powerful thighs. Both fighters have impressive physiques, and both make good use of them in this match to turn up the hurt on the other guy. And as they turn up the hurt so do they turn up the heat, their remarkable bodies exuding an initial sheen of sweat which gradually turns into a glistening cascade off of tight gleaming man muscle - fodder for a year's worth of wet dreams!
The question is ... which one will be the last man standing? Bruce relies heavily on his massive thighs, until Alexi learns to steer clear of them. Alexi draws on his inner heel, at one point choking his opponent with the guy's own arm. In the end, one fighter is knocked out cold in the center of the mat room, while the other walks away, happy to have put the jobber reputation just a little further behind him - for now.
