The lockup is surprisingly clean. Cameron gets a side headlock on Vicious, hip-tossing him to the canvas. KV tries to wrench free, but Cam crunches down savagely, keeping the heel's shaved dome under his armpit. Vicious gets back to his feet, thinking this stance might give him the leverage he needs. No dice. He pulls Cameron to the ropes, but Mathews counters him back to the center of the ring, squeezing a frustrated grunt out of the bad boy. His head throbbing and his ear full of the robust drumming of Cameron's heart, Vicious punches his tormentor in the gut. Momentarily winded, Cameron breaks the hold, only to resume it with added vigor. KV pulls out a tried-and-true dirty tactic, grasping for Cameron's balls from behind. The strapping young hero snaps up the heel's head, with a terse "I don't think so," and KV finds himself in the unaccustomed position of underdog.
Can it be that the man who tormented so many rookies and up-and-comers is finally getting his just desserts? Can Cameron Mathews succeed at what so many men before him failed at? Is Kid Vicious at last getting cut down to size and put in his place? Will virtue prevail over vice? Well, Fall 1 is too early to get your hopes up, fans, but Mathews comes on like gangbusters right from the start, and one thing is certain: he's fully capable of giving the Ultra Heel a good run for his money - and, to judge from the sweat breaking out on the forehead of the usually ultra-cool Vicious, the babyface just may break the bank. Or else he may just piss BGE's resident sadist off - and there's no way in hell such a repercussion can end prettily. At this point, it looks like it's anyone's game!
It should come as no surprise that when Kid Vicious at last gains the upper hand, he observes no rules of fair play in attempting to crush Cameron to a pulp. Sensing the real and present threat the young varsity jock poses, Vicious pulls hair, makes illegal use of the ropes to strangle, grind, and humiliate his opponent, and bashes every vulnerable spot of flesh on Mathews' body with his knees and boots. The ultimate outcome depends on whether Cam can answer KV's cheap shots, counter his brutal below-the-belt assaults through quick wittedness, and turn the KV's spiteful force back against him. Or can the good guy bring himself to stoop to fight fire with fire, tap into his inner heel to give our Ultra Heel the ultra-drubbing he seems to be asking for? This fateful meeting of opposites will keep you guessing till the end. This is classic BG East storytelling at its best. Nothing is certain until one of these guys is knocked out cold and left sprawled in the center of the ring. You have got to love that! Spectacular action and one of Cameron's sexiest matches.
