A big bodyblow turns the tide, and it's Scott's turn to work the arm. Rolling hammerlocks, standing deathlocks and leg drops until Exavier rolls to the floor. But when he stumbles too close to the ropes, Scott pays him back for the earlier rope work. "I'm gonna kill you," Exavier insists, but his follow-up, "You're breaking my arm," is a decided qualifier. A submission each, and the match takes another turn. We're big fans of uber-intense badasses, but Exavier's tortured sputtering and spitting as Scott stands on his throat and chest makes us wonder if there's such a thing as too much aggression. This is gonna get NASTY!
Chokes and half-sleepers, Exavier nearly goes out. He escapes with repeated elbows to the gut and a huge boot between Scott's beefy thighs from behind is a momentum reverser. From arms to legs, all appendages are attacked--kicks, snaps and sweeps. Scott escapes two near pins in a row. But when Exavier grabs a leg and catches a reverse enziguri kick to the chin, it's anybody's game again. Face-ripping and choking with wrist tape, but the recipient retaliates with a big low blow and a bigger DDT! Both wrestlers are now dirty to the core, and neither wants to lose. Figure 4s and another breath-taking tape choke is a near knockout. But near isn't nearly good enough, and this is where one wrestler makes his bones while the other just gets boned. Crippler crossfaces and death valley drivers! The sort of wrestling that other feds can't provide is our standard operating procedure. The quintessence of BG East.
