"I'm Not Done with You Yet!"
Newcomer Dino surprisingly dominates the more muscular Jobe for most of this match, twisting him from side to side in a full nelson while Zander's long torso thrusts and writhes, vainly attempting escape. At one point Dino grabs a rubber flip-flop and gives Jobe's butt a good paddling, humiliating the vain and mouthy veteran to no end. He ekes out multiple submissions from the waterlogged blond, and just when it looks like he's had his fill of tormenting the would-be bully, Jobe mouths off yet again and Dino The Greek just yanks him back in by the back of his water-logged trunks, saying, "I'm not done with you yet!"
In the time Jobe has wrestled for BG East, he has pitted himself - with varying degrees of success - against some of the company's top stars. Cole Cassidy, Jonny Firestorm, Kid Vicious, Joshua Goodman, Cameron Matthews, Rio Garza, and most recently Donnie Drake have each had a crack at the loudmouth, who never fails to excite viewer interest and throw his own particular brand of over-the-top theatrics into every contest. If the handsome, well built, and most recently platinum blond Zander is on the card, BGE regulars can expect wild antics mixed with unflagging ruthlessness. His spotty track record aside, Jobe is one tough competitor. His reluctance to concede inevitably pushes him to the edge of physical endurance, and that kind of heart has to count for something.
No doubt a great part of Jobe's appeal for his fans is his ability to stuff a pouch. "The Centerpiece" kind of speaks for itself. And Dino, like other challengers before him, have found Jobe's bulge, as vulnerable as it is astonishing, to be an irresistible target. Jobe is not at all shy of putting it right out there, either. So often brandished as a weapon - at one point he nearly suffocates The Greek with it - it becomes the focal point of much of the payback the braggart so richly deserves and inevitably receives. In the pool it is, he says, his "flotation device." The Greek gives it such a hammering that we have to think Jobe is going to walk bowlegged for a month. But it, and the endlessly flabbergasting man behind it, sure know how to put on a great show. This one's the definition of Wet 'n' Wild!
