Anything can happen in the world of BG East Wrestling, and eventually, it seems, everything does. Christian Taylor soon learns that he can't afford to let his attention lapse for even half a second around AJ Lyle. The relatively inexperienced AJ is determined to outfox his more experienced opponent. If you leave something exposed that may be best not to expose, you can be certain that AJ is going to grab it and yank it and twist it hard.
Midway through the match, after both wrestlers have had a turn at making the other man submit, their chests and shoulders begin to glimmer with silvery sweat, and their dark, cropped hair clumps together, their scalps smelling of seawater. Exhausting themselves against each other, their energy swells and subsides. The wrestlers lurch and tangle more desperately. AJ tests how wide those long legs of Christian's can stretch and how far back those long arms can bend. He snaps a camel clutch on Christian that's as intractable and solid as a Denver wheel clamp. With uncharacteristic violence, Christian clutches AJ's head between his knees and pounds the man's forehead to the mat repeatedly. The heat and perspiration make it appear that the two grapplers are melting into each other.
This is one of those scraps that starts off conventionally enough but then takes a turn towards the end that changes the whole order of things. At one point, one wrestler backs the other to the wall and then, startlingly out of nowhere, plies his opponent's lips with wet and passionate kisses. The moaning and writhing suddenly stop, but now hooked and horned, the other man returns the kiss with even more passion. The two caress and press together tightly, the room suddenly falling to an eerie silence. Then, just as suddenly, the mood shifts again, and a tender embrace offers the perfect opportunity for an aggressive, rollicking bear hug, and the two sweat-soaked mat men are noisily re-engaged in combat once again. Then those lips call out again. There's a surprise at every turn at BG East!
