Jordi Gabana and Cody Blayde appeared on the radar of BG East fans around the same time, when they both made their debuts in Wrestling with Pride 2. A lot of hot bodied boys with pro wrestling fantasies want a shot at glory in the ring, but showing up on the card of BG East's Wrestling with Pride 2 is an elite calling. Both Cody and Jordi claimed indy pro credentials on their resumes, but honestly, who doesn't claim to have wrestled in one independent operation or another? "You're a ring rookie at BG East," the Boss laid down the law, "until I say you're not!" To earn their way into the hearts and minds of BG East fans, not to mention earning their spot onto the card and Pride 2, they first had to audition against each other.
"You really want some of this, huh?" Jordi smirks, staring with contempt across the ring at his opponent leering back at him hungrily. Jordi is bronzed and smooth, pursing his high fashion pouty lips with contempt. In a blatant play to dole out flattery, he's donned leopard print trunks to catch the Boss's eye (be careful what you wish for!). These days, he's probably better known for his kiss-and-make-up tag team partnership with Trophy Boy Ty Alexander, in which they form the most primped and preened, unrepentantly narcissistic, outrageously overhandled, and shamelessly self-promoting wrestling partnership in history. There's a whole lot more style than substance with Jordi, but that says more about his fanatical devotion to style than it says about any deficiency in his wrestling chops. He may look too pretty to take a bump, but looks are deceiving.
"Buddy, let me tell you what's going to happen right now," Cody barks back. "I'm going to whoop your ass in those leopard tighty-whities you've got there," he predicts loudly and confidently. Loud and confident pretty much sum up Cody's approach to the ring. He's perpetually tightrope walking that fine line between bravado and unhinged mania. "I'm a beautiful peacock," Cody literally screams, flapping like a bird and demanding attention. Not that you can tear your eyes away from his candy crushed hair, gorgeous muscles, and sensationally round ass. Cody's got the whole package, but his fresh-out-of-the-asylum extra-ness leaves you guessing as to whether he's just crazy, or crazy like a fox.
Cody's undeniable athleticism sets to the tone as they dig their claws into each other at the start of this match. Within seconds, he's muscled Jordi to the mat and tied him up 5 different ways in a leglock and armbar combination. "You ain't never seen a hold like this," he crows, tossing his flowing locks out of his face and flexing his beautiful biceps. But Cody has to take it that extra three steps, ripping Jordi's underarm hair out by the roots, pinching the fashion plate's nipples, and applying a liberally lubricated wet willy. "I'm the most innovative wrestler there's ever been!"
Underestimate Jordi at your peril, though. A strategically placed boot to the very lower abdomen stops raving Cody in his tracks. "Let's take it down a notch," Jordi whispers calmly, repeatedly slamming his opponent's handsome face into the mat. "Time to taste the mat," Jordi laughs, large and in control.
What these early career grapplers may lack in experience, they more than make up for in a blatant disregard for human decency. Jordi screams like a banshee, trapped in the corner, and with his nuts crushed beneath the boot of his tormentor. However, Jordi returns the favor with a dizzying headbutt to Cody's balls that leave him seeing stars. There are flashes of technical brilliance, like when Cody predicts that he'll knock Jordi's block off with a drop kick, and sure enough, soars like no ring rookie ought to be able to. But moments later, they're savagely ripping at each other's trunks wedged way, way up their cracks (hello, beautiful butts!).
It's a seesaw battle from start to finish, which will leave you guessing to the bitter, gasping, unconscious end for one stunned stud. But you know the rest of this story. Both of these two dangerous wrestlers very ably and decisively earned their way out of the ranks of ring rookies this day!
