Forrest Taylor has received a lot of attention since arriving on our doorstep last year. His lovely, lean body and fierce determination helped earn the rookie the honor of being named Debut Wrestler of the Year. The way he soaks up punishment like a sponge in match after match, and keeps bouncing back to suck down more, also merited the bearded beauty the fan-voted title of Jobber of the Year. Like every humiliating submission hold he's succumbed to, Forrest will take the dubious honor, but he won't be satisfied with remaining anyone's doormat. He may have started out as a phenomenally popular jobber, but he doesn't plan to remain in that category long.
If you want to take lessons on how to dig yourself out of a seemingly bottomless jobber hole, Kirk Donahue is your man. Just like Forrest, Kirk was less than thrilled to be awarded the fan-title of Jobber of the Year in the early days of his tenure with BG East. He didn't appreciate it, but damn, did he earn it! The high flying indy pro was boundlessly hopeful every time he climbed into our ring, only to take some of the most epically brutal beatdowns on record, over and over again. Something about his boyishly freckled face and his flawlessly fine ass brought out the very worst in his opponents. And fans never tired of watching that little light of ambition and optimism get stomped to oblivion, match after match.
"Well, who do we have here," Forest asks, when Kirk finally arrives at ringside. Kirk is visibly irked at his lack of name recognition. "I should think you would have heard of me by now," the veteran growls warningly. "Oh, that's right, you were the Jobber of the Year," Forrest suddenly remembers with a smirk. "That was a long time ago!" Kirk snaps back bitterly. "If you think I'm just a jobber, I've got a lot to teach you!"
Forrest is a ninja in the opening moments of this match. Kirk is notoriously fast on his feet, but Forrest nearly runs circles around him, ducking each attempt the veteran makes to lock-up with him. The game of cat-and-mouse prompts Kirk to impatiently rush in one more time, which is precisely what the rookie phenom was waiting for. In a move straight out of Kirk's own playbook, Forrest leaps into the air, snags his opponent's head between his milky thighs, and sends Kirk flying across the ring. The bearded lightweight stays a step ahead, landing one high impact maneuver after another, and begging the question of just who is the cat, and who is the mouse!
"You're pulling the same shit I did back in the day," Kirk barks with contempt, finally catching the fleet-footed Freshman with a nearly-decapitating clothesline. "You're doing to need new material, kid," he snarls, dragging Forrest up by a fist full of red curls. "Let's see if I can slow you down a bit."
If by "slow down," Kirk means unilaterally beat the shit out of him, he's true to his word. "Sure, I was Jobber of the Year," the veteran is still stewing about the slight to his ego, even as he humiliates his opponent in standing headscissors and wedgies Forrest's trunks way up his lovely alabaster ass cheeks. "But does this look like a fucking jobber to you?!" Kirk demands, flexing domineeringly over his battered foe. "You're still a jobber," Forrest groans defiantly.
It's a master clinic in delivering boss-style heel domination. And, it's a master clinic in sucking up total humiliation like a top-tier, fan-favorite jobber. The perfect alignment of yin and yang define this battle of award-winning jobbers who want to be heels, as something fans of merciless domination and corporal punishment will savor again and again. One sweat-soaked stud earns the pole position in the race for this year's leading jobber, while the other sneering hunk puts to rest the ghosts that have haunted him for years.
