You have to wonder what The Boss is thinking when he lines up matches for young Jayden Mayne. The long, lean cutie has yet to face an opponent within 50 pounds of his own 147 pounds. He's undeniably earned respect from his opponents and BGE fans, but the eager, young hopeful has soaked up astonishing quantities of punishment from the muscle brutes The Boss has set upon him. Unquestionably, Jayden has the look and fitness of a serious lightweight contender. He's proven beyond a shadow of a doubt that he has the tenacity and the surprisingly advanced wrestling skill to wring a submission or two out of some seriously big boys. But he's taken two devastating beatings, and little does he realize when The Boss kicks his cute rookie butt out the back door to "go train some more, punk," that he's about to face the likes of the ripped to shreds, 184-pound bodybuilder, Darius.
For his part, Darius is still smarting from his humiliation at the hands of sadistic veteran Mr. Joshua Goodman. That was not the way Darius had pictured his BG East debut, and the loss sent him back to the gym to sculpt and tone his smooth, granite muscles even bigger and harder. When The Boss dangled a photo of lanky young Jayden in front of his face, Darius licked his lips and signed on the dotted line faster than you can say, "Lunch meat." This was the match that Darius was dreaming of to carve out his niche as a player at BG East. Jayden would be the perfect opponent to help him demonstrate what all the hours in the gym building inch by inch of Darius' gorgeous, bulging muscles were for.
Darius is first on the mat, flexing every striated, sculpted, massive muscle on his powerful body. He wants young Jayden to have to walk across the backyard to the sight of Darius displaying his imposing physique. However, having faced the likes of Trent Blayze and big Joe Robbins, cool, cocky Jayden is unfazed and apparently unimpressed. "What are you doing, man?" He asks mockingly. "What, did your mirror break at home?"
"I'm checking out how good how all this freaking muscle looks!" Darius snarls. As Jayden stretches, he replies, "Dude, you're flexing on my practice mat! I have to practice, so get off the mat, or maybe I'll teach you a thing or two." Darius can't quite disguise his eager grin. All he sees is a pale, "skinny," babyface punk about to learn what it's like to face a real muscle man." All Jayden sees is, finally, an opponent a mere 40 pounds heavier and ripe for getting his bodybuilder ego and his big bad body seriously bruised.
