Jonny Firestorm caught the underground wrestling world's attention in a 'Contract' match with Brad Rochelle, who destroyed the cocky, Leopard-favorite upstart, all those years ago. To say that Jonny has advanced is an understatement. He went from rogue to core heel of the promotion. His "regular guy" appeal is iconic. Over time he became the company's most feared wrestler, less because he was nearly always meanest heel and more because he gets the job done. He humbles the proud and tears apart the wannabes. Nathan FX is next. Nathan stretches in the ring in his underwear, loosening up, a guy who has been kicked around by every wrestler in the promotion but somehow retains his air of superiority. This guy is gator bait.
Jonny enters the ring like he owns it, and he pretty much does. He grabs Nathan's trunks off the corner post and tucks them deep down in his singlet. Nathan wants his trunks back. Jonny grins, daring the pretty boy to reach down his singlet to reclaim his gear. Nathan nonchalantly wags his schlong, showing off. Jonny drops down on his left knee and forearm slams Nathan's nuts. Words cannot convey the upstart's face as he falls back on his ass. His hands clutch his jewels as Jonny pulls Nathan's trunks from the depths of his singlet and hangs them on the turnbuckle. He pulls Nathan up by his frosted hair, kneels on one leg, and plops Nathan and his battered nuts on his extended knee.
If you think Nathan FX will quickly recover, you are not paying attention. He is flat on his back. Jonny pulls one foot up to Nathan's head and holds the other down with one foot. He reaches down to seize the crotch. Nathan's face is contorted beyond recognition. Jonny releases and takes a step back. He drops to one knee, smashing the groin, grinning mischievously. He steps back and raises his clenched fists over his head and slams them to Nathan's nuts. Poor Nathan! It is terrible â?? and we are only four minutes into the match!
By the midpoint, Jonny is self-confident to the point of being careless. Looming over a supine but conscious Nathan, he flexes both arms, smugly grinning at his mirror reflection. He reaches down, both hands grabbing Nathan's hair, pulling him up on his knees. In a flash, Nathan rams his forearm to Jonny's unprotected crotch. POW! The worm turns! Jonny hollers, his mouth a perfect zero, which remains even after his howl goes mute. Nathan follows up by slamming his entire body across Jonny's face. Nathan grabs his foot and twists it, quick, sharp, and sudden. At the same time, he steps on different sections of Firestorm's upper body. He hops on a turnbuckle, crushing Jonny's head between his thighs. Is this the end, another turnaround worthy of Jonny's own arc? Well, the match has ten more minutes remaining. What do you think?
"Let's just call it even after that," says Nathan in a conciliatory tone. No way! Jonny scoops him up, throws him over his shoulders, and snaps Nathan's spine. The pain of it forces Nathan to submit, and Jonny drops him like a sack of potatoes. Jonny switches to headscissors. Jonny has enough in his bag of tricks to fill at least ten more Jobberpaloozers. In the end, Jonny vacates the ring, leaving his challenger breathless, on his back, allowing the camera to glide up and down his pale, beautiful, but nearly lifeless body.
