Facing off in the center of the ring, the contrast between Morgan and Diego is stunning. Over half a foot shorter, Morgan has to crane his neck in the pre-match stare down as Diego looms overhead. "I want you to take a good, long look at this," Morgan growls, pointing at the championship belt around his waist. "Yeah, I will," Diego chuckles, patting his deeply carved six-pack, "because that's going to be right here when this is over."
Morgan may be nowhere near his opponent in height, but when it comes to trash-talking and unquestioned self-confidence, these two are perfectly matched. Their non-stop withering insults are paced as ferociously as their bone-crunching offenses. Two minutes into the match, the Latino rookie plays his trump card, squeezing a rib-crushing scissors specialty submission from The Mastodon faster than anyone has managed to make Morgan give before. Grabbing hold of destiny with both hands, Diego lifts the belt to his face and plants a passionate kiss on it. "What did I tell you?!" he laughs. "It is mine!!!"
But there are few things as dangerous as a rampaging mastodon. With Diego admiring the belt he's about wrap around his rippled abs, Morgan drops the giant to his knees with a ball crushing low blow. "That was a cheap shot!" Diego gasps through gritted teeth, as if he can't quite believe the vicious dirty trick. Knowing Morgan's tunnel-vision commitment to become the nastiest heel in the stable, Diego had better become a believer fast!!
The Mastodon repeatedly drags Diego out of the ring by his long, curly locks. "I thought you wanted to be a champion," Morgan taunts him. "Did you really think it was going to be that easy, you sucker!?" The fiery rookie is far from ready to concede the match to "the little man," however. Diego's stubbornness seems to inspire more vicious brutality from Morgan by the minute. Tossing the big man into the wall, Morgan pries Diego's head backward by a fist full of hair and snarls, "Still want to be champ!?"
Somebody's date with destiny is about to turn ugly. Morgan delights in using Diego's incredibly long limbs to tie him up and twist his gorgeous body into one spine snapping contortion after another. But the powerful rookie's muscled body is built for endurance. Just when Morgan thinks he's on top to stay, Diego delivers an astonishing choke slam that nearly sends the Mastodon into the rafters and then through the ring boards. With a championship belt and bragging rights on the line, it requires no fewer than 11 long, lingering submissions and a pin fall packed into 24 minutes of corner to corner action to finally, once and for all crush the dreams of one of these fierce competitors.
