"Bruising Body and Soul"
Skrapper is a savvy wrestler, which makes you have to wonder whether his mind games started about 10 minutes before he walked in the door. Every advantage he enjoys, he points out to Z-Man in order to further bruise his opponent's fragile ego. "Damn, you're losing so fast, dude!" he snarls, locking the straining muscles of the fitness star in a neck cranking camel clutch. Skrapper's body is lean and lithe, and watching him outhustle and outmuscle the powerful physique of his opponent is a wonder. All those losses that Skrapper earned at the hands of muscled beasts more than 50 pounds heavier make handling the likes of Z-Man seem almost pedestrian. Before Z-Man can cobble together an offense, Skrapper is literally wiping the floor with his tanned, toned body.
The Z-Man has a wrestling resume deceptively long and storied, however, and all those muscles most certainly count for something when push comes to shove. Z-Man engages in a game of catch-and-release, repeatedly crushing Skrapper's skull between his powerful thighs, wearing the wiry wrestler down until he finally submits, making the score even at one fall apiece. Z-Man flexes in victory, reveling in the world-class conditioning that's earned him legions of fans after proving he has the chops to compete at BG East.
The action takes a decidedly rougher turn once Skrapper begins targeting Z-Man's proudly developed physique for concentrated pounding. When Skrap uses Z's marble sculpted pecs for a punching bag, Z takes it personally. Z-Man can soak up as much pain as Skrapper can dish out, but a frontal assault on Z-Man's dignity pushes him over the edge. Once Z-Man's ego takes over, Skrapper just sits back and waits for the inevitable opening to swoop in and lock on crotch-ripping submission hold that leaves the muscle star snarling bitterly, "I give! I give up!" The fury on Z-Man's face is palpable. Skrapper rubs salt in the wound, explaining, "That's what you get for smiling at me, dude!" You can watch the real match happening underneath the surface of the Z-Man, as he swallows his injured pride, sucks up his bruised ego, and launches the incapacitating, expertly executed assault that everyone knows he's capable of. When the Z-Man is on his game it's like wrestling poetry, with body and soul perfectly attuned for delivering unstoppable domination. He evens the score with a ferocious crotch-ripping revenge that leaves the Skrapper sobbing.
The battle between Z-Man and his ego is nearly as much a barn-burner as the fierce battle between Z-Man and Skrapper for the final seven minutes of this scrap. Five more rapid-fire submissions culminate with a match-ending sleeper that dashes the dreams of one wrestler and gives a new lease on life to the cocky victor. Wrestling story-telling at its best.
