A Lesson in Ring Work - and Humility!
Anyone who has seen any of Cole's matches would be justified in assuming that a young rookie like Bobby Horton doesn't stand a chance against such a thug. And after the initial tie-up, with Cole battering the youngster back into a corner, things don't look good for the new kid on the block. But rather than taking his usual cheap shot, Cole arrogantly and surprisingly allows a clean break - which he lives to regret when Bobby takes him down and works him into a vicious bow and arrow - driving his boot time after time into the weakening small of Cole's back! Bobby shows he's learned his lessons well as he punishes Cole with a series of vicious armbars, going back to attack Cole's arm and shoulder again and again. Could this big rookie kid be the one to finally humble one of the most vicious thugs in the BG stable?
Treacherous as a rattlesnake, Cole manages to work a reversal - and follows that advantange up with a battering series of elbow drops, knees, and stomps to Bobby's back that leave the young rookie boy staggered! And now, the thug goes to work on the youngster, whipping him around the ring by his long hair, stomping, choking, slamming and smashing the kid until finally putting a vicious figure 4 head scissors on the kid and engaging every ripped muscle in his powerful legs as he tries to crack Bobby's head like a walnut to get that submission or know him out - either of both are happy endings for Killer Cassidy! But game Bobby refuses to give in - and even manages, despite the nasty beating he's taken, to get back on track with some offense of his own that leaves the hardened heel screaming on the mat!
But you can never turn your back on Cole Cassidy - especially when his arsenal includes not just fists, elbows and knees but some serious submission leglocks as well as the most dreaded finishing blow in BG East, his (ought to be banned) heart punch! And he's never content to deliver it just once....
