Darren Madison is a very cute and mouthy twink who thinks he's going to steamroll right over hairy-chested gypsy hunk Sasha. But Madison's swimmer's build and schoolboy bravado don't look like much stacked up against Sasha's sturdy build. And once you factor in superior wrestling know-how, Sasha looks like too tough a customer for the sexy Essex lad to handle. For his part, Sasha finds the prospect of putting some black and blue marks on cocky Madison wryly amusing. He sizes up the lean lanky punk as a wise-ass wannabe who has logged in too many hours watching pro wrestling on the telly. In the first fall, Sasha, jacked up on an adrenalin rush, plays rough with the cocky lad, and we see the sudden dismay on Madison's face as an ugly truth sinks in, that this frisky motel romp might hurt, seriously hurt, and the rosy hue of his cheeks turns suddenly pale.
The widely acclaimed and award winning Motel Madness UK series has held a curious mix of rough, sexy and playful action, with the Brit competitors often ready to take the mat action just a tad further (in all three directions) than their US counterparts. US pro wrestling was only a pale imitation of the British wrestling shows that popped up in London music halls circa 1900. We Yanks squeezed it into our distinctive mold with the dawn of the Golden Age of Television, throwing in influences from Mexico, Japan, Samoa, Canada, and Brazil and making it into our own - or at least into something different than what it used to be. But the Brits, bless them, have always had a particular gift for rowdiness, from the Tudors to the Sex Pistols, and here at BG East we are happy to reserve them a fancy motel room where they can wreak havoc on each other - just the way we like it.
In the mood for mischief, The Boss went so far as to tell young Darren, who has made a reputation for himself at some London clubs that showcase live wrestling, that he had been signed to fight a jobber, intimating the match would be an easy squash for the lad. Even after he catches sight of Sasha's powerful build, the cocky youngster bounces around like he's ready to make mincemeat out of the guy. Sasha grins like a wolf with his eye on a frolicking lamb and moves in quick and deadly, roughing up the good-looking kid and savoring the rank terror that spreads over Madison's face as he finds himself unable to move, much less strike back, in Sasha's irresistible and agonizing grip.
