At first Donnie concentrates on Braden's pecs, irresistible targets. By savaging these bad boys, Drake wears the man down and assaults key signifiers of his virility. More than victory, Drake wants to demolish Charron's carefully worked-on image. He means to make the beefy hero grovel and reduce him to quivering jelly. If doing that means punching the guy's chest, stomping the guy's chest, standing on the guy's chest, and directing knee and elbow drops to the guy's chest, mingled with a full volley of pec claws - from above, from below, from behind, from the front - well, then, so be it. Sitting on Braden's back, with both the man's arms pulled back, Drake claws both pecs from behind, extracting maximum pain and ending Fall 1 with a brutal submission that seems to go on forever.
Braden rebounds in the shortest round in the match and shows off the benefits of hard muscle. He hoists Drake up on his shoulders for the torture rack, which in less than a minute has Donnie yelping for mercy. But then Donnie's furious reprisal makes the final fall the most complicated and grueling of all. No longer concentrating on just his opponent's chest, Drake applies the most vicious holds at his disposal - among them, the camel clutch (with face clawing on top of every other agony of the hold), the Boston crab, naked strangulation, and, wait for it... the piledriver! And he won't stop at submission.
If quivering jelly is what Drake wants, it is exactly what he gets. Strenuous combat leads to a solid, sweaty knockout finish - and one of the most ritualized ten counts in recent memory. Count one hunk thoroughly bashed. A STAR is reborn!
