TAG TEAM TORTURE 14: "You Want First?" The Musclemen Take Their Turns
Muscleplug Kieran Dunne is, of course, a legend at BG East. He's fought in some of BGE's great muscle battles, including matches with Joshua Goodman, Troy Baker, Aryx Quinn, and Rio Garza. Undoubtedly he is better known for his physique than his win record, and that fact no doubt gives Blaine Janus the confidence (or is it hubris?) to challenge those big muscles, with Eddy Rey's into the bargain. Tall, dark, and brutally handsome Eddy has a shorter but comparable history at BGE. But he's a big man with a seething temper and a strong sense of pride. His muscular back is a sculpted monument to the gods of power. He is not somebody to be messed with, unless you think wrestling really has little need for powerful muscles. As the boys eagerly enter the BGE mat room, we can see the musclemen hungrily eying Blaine, powerfully dismantling the cocky blond joint by joint in their minds. As Eddy and Kieran confidently flex and preen, partly to impress the fans and partly to psych out their opponent, Blaine mocks them, deriding their poses and dismissing them as muscle-bound lugs: "Let's see if that body can do you any good when it comes to the REAL wrestling deal."
Kieran and Eddy look at Blaine and shake their heads. Which one of them should put the first dents into this cocky upstart? The new, more aggressive Kieran was the first to confront Blaine in the gym, so he decides to go first here. Immediately, Blaine nimbly slips under Kieran, through his legs, and hops on his back to apply an immobilizing full nelson. Kieran is in shock, and so is his partner, his mouth gaping from the edge of the mat. Kieran uses his weight, backing up and smashing his assailant to the wall. The blow shakes Blaine loose, and yet still he outwrestles the startled muscle god. It looks like Blaine might have been right after all, as speed and nimbleness overcome size and strength. Blaine gets the first win, by submission. Eddy wants to take on the Canadian next, but Kieran pushes Eddy out of the way, determined to overcome the insult of a "lucky" win, and smashes into Blaine, ruthlessly targeting the man's back and neck. Yet again, though, the smaller fighter reverses, soon handing the mirror-obsessed he-man his second humiliation in a row, as Eddy shakes his head in appalled amazement.
