If Rio's first mistake was to let Donnie up, it's not a lenience Drake is likely to reciprocate. He punishes the pretty boy relentlessly, attacking the man's abs with slugs that make the model's whole body shudder. He then clamps down below the navel with the iron claw, sending shockwaves of shivering agony up and down the length of the prettyboy's body. He strings the Latin sensation up, shoulder blades pinched to the top rope, and pulls down on the chin, using his full weight to all but decapitate the guy. That first free punch at the beginning of the fight is the last favor Garza's ever going to get from this man.
This fight is where we see the full flowering of Donnie Drake as Punisher Extraordinaire - in which role he proves himself to be on the order of a Firestorm or a Cassidy! How will the fans respond? Donnie has never been meaner or tougher than he is here. He has never looked more ripped either. Evidently Rio brings out something in Drake we have not seen before. He cannot hear Rio plead "I give" too many times, and as the latin lover writhes in pain, Donnie only ratchets up the torment, not just exercising his ability to wrestle and beat his opponent fair and square, but relishing every spasm of pain he causes as well, making Rio's beautiful abs the target of most of his ire. Apparently the matching skull-and-crossbones tattoos on the back of Drake's calves are meant to announce a new direction in Drake's career path - the path of sadistic violence untempered by law or mercy.
Drake piles humiliation on top of humiliation. For his part, Rio suffers with restraint, his whimpers balanced somewhere between anguish and rapture. Drake breaks to flex his muscles at his reflection in the mirror as Garza groans and gingerly nurses his bruises. Rio plays Drake's punching bag for only so long-well, for fourteen unstinting minutes! - but the proverbial worm does eventually turn, and fans should love the vengeance he dishes out on Drake. And he looks damn splendid doing it, too. It's a match where your predictions of ultimate victory are likely to change two or three times before one man ultimately exits the ring, leaving the other man groaning and writhing in his sweat.
