Donnie suffers from a vulnerable ego, but that's the only thing vulnerable about him. Bristling after Eddy's bravura humiliation of him, Donnie fights back, first arching Eddy into a wild and sexy variation of the boston crab, which pushes Eddy's face to the mat while ensuring that the two men's substantial packages bump provocatively (THANK YOU, Mister Cameraman!). "I'm a muscled-up pretty boy too," Drake says, with good reason, but with rage constricting his throat as he speaks, "and I got ... TALENT." He punctuates the last word with a vicious boot thrust to Eddy's lats, causing the handsome Brazilian to roll over, moaning, his face frozen in a grimace. This is sublime punishment.
Knowing a thing or two about humiliation as well, Donnie positions Eddy to face the mirror, so he can watch the spasms of pain flash cross his face as Donnie digs his knee into the man's backbone. Eddy grunts and writhes, trying to break free, sweat streaking his jaw line, his belly heaving in and out as he gasps for air. What follows is a nearly interminable assault on Eddy's back that, at the very least, is going to require two years of chiropractic care to repair. Donnie is unusually exhilarated by his victory, on some level aware that this primordial contest is fateful and climactic in both men's wrestling careers.
This match epitomizes everything the Hunkbash series means. We have two men in the best condition of their lives. Both are built like ultra-macho warriors in a video game, tall, massive men without an ounce of fear in their souls, willing, even impatient, to wager the highest stakes on the power of their bodies, the force of their wills, and the excellence of their combat skills. They give their all to the fight, determined to gain total mastery of the other and, further, make him feel the reality of that mastery in the core of his being.
"I'm begging you to get up for me," Donnie calls to Eddy, with as much sincerity as mockery in his voice. "I want you to give me your best shot." Nothing less than their best shots will do for these two studs, and the intensity and brutality of this contest make this one of those fights that will haunt your dreams and reveries for years to come. File this one under "pummeling," under "vengeance," under "unpredictable," under "vicious," under "beautiful", under "extraordinary" and, oh, most definitely, under "HOT." In a word: epic.
