Obnoxious as ever, Aryx Quinn rolls in late to his twice-postponed match with Alexi Adamov. On his smart phone, oblivious to his opponent's statuesque presence in the ring, he even dresses the part of the badass down to his black leather jacket and black Stetson cowboy hat. Here's the guy you love to hate in the boardroom, the school playground, the locker room, and the dusty main drag of Hadleyville at high noon, all rolled into one. He's in smarmy good spirits, just to get Alexi's goat, having kept the young superstar waiting for over an hour. Arrogant Aryx enters the ring, suckers Sexi Alexi into a test of strength, and then swiftly kicks him in the ribs. It's a grand entrance all right and a great way to raise Alexi's ire, as if it weren't already plenty high off the ground.
This face-off proves well worth the wait. It's a lot of fun for fans of Alexi, Aryx, or, ideally, both fine wrestlers, because we see them here in tiptop condition and at the top of their game. Aryx smoothly runs through his arsenal of cheap shots and cowardly dodges. He clings to the ropes for safety, at one point trying to escape some well-deserved comeuppance by climbing a low-hanging rafter. Later he derisively rides Alexi like a pony, whipping the man's haunch with his Stetson! Alexi makes him pay for each insult and pay dearly, chasing him down outside the ring and hurling his butt back onto the mat. "Not so pretty anymore, are you, cowboy?" Alexi says with grim satisfaction, tossing the punk to the mat and squeezing his head between his huge bicep and pretty pec.
BG East brings you two of our most popular fighters, fiercely competitive, sumptuously built and "made of fuckin' iron," as Quinn says of Adamov at one point, with dismayed respect. It's spectacularly sexy and dynamically dramatic. The array of holds and moves, on the ropes, off the ropes, in the ring and out will have you bulging a big as the two combatants. Their showdown may keep you saddle-sore and walking funny for weeks!
